O bah, So I should have made the medium nutrition additives and not the heavy ones?
Would it be a good idea to make a sticky in the chef forum for BEs to explain your 'new' profession to them?
I know I am really confused, at first I did not even know what all those additives do, and now I read you can't use all the additives in all the food?

Hello,
I'm on very limited time so I didn't get a chance to search the forums (yet), so I apologize if my question overlaps anything discussed in the past:
If it's possible, could someone help me understand the idea of crafting pets? I just got novice bio-engineer 2 days ago, and made a monster level 2 gnort (40 HAM, no resists, and like less than 10 attack)...ok, it sucks..but, what settings determine a good pet? For example, when crafting a pet what determines attack, HAM, specials? What does courage, and the rest of them mean?
I would appreciate help on this, so far after crafting pet after pet...even using pretty darn high dna (stuff that about killed me when it agroed me), I got up to a level 14 kaadu (like 2k ham, and 100 attack, one special).
Thanks for any help, information, or other stuff that people can help me in trying to understand this profession better.
Thanks,

Thanks,
By limited time, I just had class right then and had to run to get that done. I will do as you suggested and start reading around, too bad there are no solid guides for this.

When you use food additives, do you have to choose only one per recipe? Do the different recipes have different numbers of additive slots? Can a food item have both nutrition tissues and duration tissues?

+25 is the cap per item. It's also the cap for the total usable bonus, per skill, you can gain from *all* clothing worn at once. They can wear a +100 medical outfit and it'll still act like only +25. It's been proven many times by the Doc's as it's a particulary important topic for them.

Maybe I'm an idiot but I just need to clarify something before I make some Be clothing for a customer.
He wants a +25 Inj/Wound Treatment shirt and jacket. If he wears them both do they stack? I know each clothing item caps at +25 but do multiple items also cap?
Thanks

I have just started to make my first set of Bio-Engineered clothing. I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on how much to sell them for. Example: How much should I sell a Doctor's Dress with +11 to both injury and wound treatment. Thank you in avance to anyone who can assist me.

As a BE, I typically sell a crate of active biosensors for around 50 - 100k (depends on whether you are a repeat customer or if I like you or not).
As a doctor (on a server separate from my BE) I usually pay around 50k for a doctors dress with +25 wound/injury treatment on it (two AB tissues).
The easiest way to determine pricing is to check out your competition - and then undercut them by a few thousand.

Different servers are very different for pricing,
and ours seems to be in a slight recession at the moment ,with lots of BE wear flooding the market
On Infinity tho , as a Master Tailor, a general rule that I use is:
1k per bonus point +5k (labour costs)
so , your +11/+11 tissues in clothing would sell for 27,000 creds
Hope this is some use to you, but you really need to speak to Master Tailors on your server.
