I agree.. Don't try to make all races human.. For the same reason I disagree with Kwee asking for "female clothing for wookies".... I don't really see wookies wearing dresses or skirts or anything.. Zabrak aren't supposed to have muchhair and I think maybe some of them already have too much hair as it is. What do you want next, a twi'lek with a nice head of hair?
I am ALL FOR THIS! I am SO tired of being a Twi'lek. I want tohave hair. For this reason, and this alone, I want to be able to do species changes. Too bad they've already said that's a no-go... And as for someZabraks having "too much hair", who are you to decide? How silly.

Ninja, just out of curiousity... what server are you on and are you even an ID? I noticed you've been spamming our board with complaints and gripes and little else recently.
Nat, from reading other Ninja posts he seems to be nothingmore than an entertainer hating troll...don't waste your time reading his posts or replying to them.

While this *is* a roleplaying game, this game only exists because humans behind the screen are paying for it. Humans have humanoid expectations when it comes to aesthetics - within limits, of course. So what good do 'unhuman' hairstyles do if no player wants them? Or have you *ever* seen a single zabrak female who's been running around with one of the 'top bald - back long' hairstyles? I haven't seen a single one since I've started playing in August. So why bother with implementing hair styles no player want, regardless of whether they might be considered 'zabrak typical' by the devs and a few (usually non-zabrak) other players? Also, as said, there *are* already nicer zabrak hairstyles in game, NPCs do have them already, so why not players?
And please, spare me with all the'zabrakshave to be bald'trash talk. Zabraks may not be feminine, or particularly 'girly', but that doesn't mean they have to be bald. I've not once asked for a 'girly' hairstyle. I don't wantzabraks to have all human hairstyles either.I just want hair at all, see no reason to be bald - and no, I don't want it to cover my horns. I like them. I just don't like the naked space in between.
I agree with the hair not needing to be girly or be humanish. Like has been stated before, there are npcs with the braided hair that really should be available to IDs. There are no real reason that any of the hairstyles that are possible for NPCs to have on a certain type should not be available to a master image designer working on that type of PC. It is not like the dev crew would have to impliment any new artwork or anything. It is already on the system. I'm almost willing to bet that they are saving things like this till they actually make an expansion for the game that they are going to sell, saying they are new features, much like things in EQ.

That's just it. If the advertising isn't lying to me (and people like yourself tell me it is), humans are paying to be immersed in the SW universe. Of course I could be wrong. We could all be playing to convince ourselves that in a far off galaxy some long #$% time ago, no one looked too different from us, and 1 in 5 people were bounty hunters. Whatever works for you.

Yes, I have. And when I do, I don't think "hey, that's ugly and bald" I'm just glad that somebody doesn't mind actually looking like their chosen race.
As to NPC hairstyles, I'm all for seeing them implemented. In fact, I'm all for all kinds of new looks we could have. The only thing I have a problem with is that too many people want all the non-humans to look more human. Why can't you just accept them for what they are?
The whole 'female zabraks shouldnt try to look human' argument is fine...
But then why do MALE zabraks have two full head of hair options? Are zabraks somehow backwards and have female pattern baldness?
I'm sure female zabraks would be happy to just have all the options open to the males open to them as well.
Same with bothan females, some of those male bothan hairstyles would look awesome on women, but no, female bothan hairstyles are mostly a selection of turtle shells.

According to your logic, there shouldn't be any human race at all in the game then. Cause it sure isn't very "immersive" to see humans in game if we are all humans in real life anyway. Why not let people play the way they want to play? All the complaints I see about zabraks with more hair being un-zabrak-like don't even seem to be playing female zabraks. Lol.
And I agree with the lats poster - making male hair options available would make me perfectly happy, cause they DO have hairstyles with hairs AND horns.
You know, if it weren't for the long female zabrak style with the braids on the side of the head (that would be gorgeous with a full head of hair), I'd think the code got muddled and zabrak females are supposed to have the male styles and vice versa

So, unless I missed it, no changes to squad leader, again bring it to a perfect record, other than the XP thing, which took us to dragging the pool for XP to "Master while waiting for fries at a drive through." There was one change to something squad leader related, but it mostly had to do with pets, so I've forgotten what it is now, oh yeah, boost morale no longer takes pets into account. Other than that, not a fix. At this point, I don't even want a fix, just in one patch somewhere in the list of all the professions getting fixed, just have an entry that says:
Squad Leader: No fixes, but we are working on it.
Just something to reassure me. I've been a squad leader since the start of August. I've dropped combat skills as I went up in it and creature handler. I'm down to just "novice medic" from the medic tree from being near master. I wear my Master Squad Leader title with pride, but still get /tells with "Wow, impressive, I heard that squad leader is broken, that true?" So they added politicians, gave combat medics healmind and terrain negotiation, fixed defensive mods for others, but they can't make it so that /rally will still allow doctors to revive and drag people, or party members to loot? How long can that take. They can't raise the effectiveness of volleyfire so that after failing four times in a row as a master squad leader, it does more than 104 damage even though I'm leading a group of five players and three faction pets? I do more than that alone. "take down difficult NPCs with ease." I can't take down a chunker creep with volleyfire I bet. BoostMorale is a bizarre skill that makes no sense in the real world, is poorly named, and would just make people mad. But, at least it works I guess. /Rally failed me five times in a row the other day. Even when it does work, I'm asked by people not to use it.
I took this profession because unlike all the solo-artists out there, I enjoy being in a group and helping out. It's what I play games like this for, and that makes this the class for me. It's something I wanted to do since I started reading about the game. And it's what I'm going to stay. This is my primary character and I'm not holo-hunting him away from squad leader. It's what I am and that's that. Now, I just want to be an un-broken squad leader.

Quaydo, master squad leader Corbantis
When asked why Pikemen (supposedly the most broken combat class if you pretend Squad Leaders don't exist) had been ignored yet again when every other combat class (except SL's, naturally, though they failed to mention us) got fixes, Thunderheart said he has "really exciting" news for them this weekend.
One couldactually legitimately be optimistic at this point. Player cities are now in-game. Player mounts are now in-game. In a perfect world, that means we finally have a dev available to us that might actually make changes to this profession. Just imagine /rally doing something that your squad likes. /steadyaim making your squad hit things more often. /volleyfire doing something. /boostmorale boosts morale instead of pissing everyone off. Passive bonuses that you actually notice.
In the real world, they've been for the most part ignoring thebeta testers that have been telling them what's wrong with mounts and cities ever since it wasloaded on the test server, and nowmost of the same bugs are still thereandit's live. So more than likely that dev I mentioned before, when he isn't working on the space expansion he's gonna have his hands full workin on fixing the new bugs that he is personally responsible for. They have no reason to assign a new dev to this profession that they haven't had for the last 5 months.
Thecircumstances surrounding this professionare getting to be almost as ridiculous as the Jedi debacle.
A forum moderator once told me "noone is being ignored" as he locked my thread on Squad Leaders. That's a perfectly reasonable stance if you think Squad Leaders aren't in the game. If, however, you're conscious and cognizant and you've either hit ctrl+s in-game orvisited this board once, it's a bit harder to stand behind that line.
