Oh well let me add somethings. Some things I learned on the road to master merchant. I now know the price for everything in my universe and how much further I can stretch it. I was buying 50k schematics and selling them for a million...I know that you need to watch out for people stealing your supplies to sell on their own vendors...AND THEY LIVE RIGHT NEXT DOOR (banned quite a few for this one). People love brandy....I would never sell in crates above 12 though, people dont NEED that much brandy and your supply lasts longer.
Mainly I sold whatever loots I found from my TKM/Brawler, Brandy/synthsteaks/mind food/dizzy-kd food, Stim-bs, vibro knuckles, and resources (mostly hi quality wheat). Put your shop on Coronet, everyone has to go through their sooner or later, its more convenient. Only do not put your shop on naboo/coronet if you do not want alot of buisness. Some guild cities though have all their merchant tents around their shuttleport (this is a very good idea!). Make a colorful sign, and put the date on your sign. If you update everyday, say that in your sign. Then people will know you have stuff on your vendors and whatnot.
If your looking to grind this profession, the best thing to do is setup as many tents/small naboo houses you can, and pay a pearl per two people. I got a guild of 7 to run mine for 45k xp for a pearl and a few holos (which imo was worth it, merchant is sooo slow). Also like in the guide, go up manager first, then advertise III.
Also one thing, if you are selling +1 seas, do not sell them for 100k or more, thats just stupid.
Think thats about it, have fun, i think it took me about 3 weeks to master, give or take a few days.

Just made Master yesterday. All I can say is, 'Wow!'
The difference between 4/4/4/3 and master is just unbelievable. I had seen posts that said there was no comparison, but I have to admit I didn't believe it. I certainly do now.
Thanks to all of you that made contributions of rifle information, hunting suggestions, food recommendations, etc. I took a little bit of everything andmade my own path. Took a few months, but what a ride. Much obliged.
