My first and only ability so far =)

Some creatures seem far more prone to having specific specials than others. I'm going to hazard a guess that it works a lot like loot tables, where there's X chance of getting Y ability if you tame it, then smaller chances to get any of the other abilities ... or something like that. {snicker} Just my own pet theory. (no pun intended)

That having been said, here's 6 more datapoints for folks:
