Hmm, don't use those abominations. However, if you insist on letting it live by passing it on, make sure to sell it within the next 2 weeks to someone you don't plan to have any relationship with for the remainder of your game time

Please direct all trade related posts to your galaxy trade fourms. Since each galaxy has a different economy and not all people who post here are from your galaxy you will get a much more accurate picture of its worth by posting on your own galaxy trade fourms.

Hi guys, I have a price check to ask for. I have a system of pricing items, but I unlearned all of my architect except furniture 4
, so I don't know what to charge based on resource cost. So my question is what should I charge for a Corellia Garage and a Corellia Cloning Facility. If someone can let me know what the resource requirement is or what you typically charge for them I would be much obliged.

You can find resource requirements at www.swgcraft.com. As for pricing, you may want check your server trade forum, they probably have a better idea of what things go for on your server.
Hope that helps.
P.S. I don't sell structures, so I can't tell you my prices, or I would.

Price checks should be done on server trade forums cause supply /demand will vary a lot from server to server.

ok i know this has been gone over many times, so I apologize. I tried searching and I just keep getting an error saying the search feature in unavailable at this time.
I am wondering what is the general guideline for pricing? I remeber seeing a post where someone said they charge based on the resource amount used. Like (X cpu) x (amount of resources in schematic)= final price. Does anyone have a recommendation on what that price per resource unit should be? I am about to load my vendors up so I need assistance.

Short answer: it varies by galaxy. Ask in your galaxies trade forums.
Better answer: go to a city bazaar, go to vendor search, and run 2 searches on key items
(ie no need to check divans and ottoman, just look at one): planet and galaxy. (I'm basing this on how I shop around). I figure most people are more likely to buy on their own plaent that futz around with waypoints missing when they go to another planet, because they didn't notice their datapad is full... When I started, I priced a bit (10-15%) under the average price of items, with major discounts on a few items to brin in business. Since then I've slowly raised prices so I'm usually average to above average (again, with a few sweet deals).
Of course, I started pre vendor search. Some things, I placed on the bazaar for 500cr, and slowly raise the price until I saw a big decrease in sales, and determined a good price the hard way over months...
Price per CPU? I really don't want to think that hard...

The FAQ has some guidelines on pricing, but I'll summarize the key point - you charge what makes sense to your business model. Prices are all over the map even within a single galaxy. If you price too low (whatever that means) then you will either be constantly out of products and/or you will have to figure out a way to scale up your production. If you price too high (whatever that means) then perhaps no one will buy your products.
The best advice is - look around at what other folks are charging - *remembering* that they almost certainly have a different definition of "fun" in the game than you do. Then think (but not too hard - this is supposed to be fun
). Then just pick a price out of the air and try it. If you sell out too soon, raise it the next time. If it doesn't sell, then think about lowering the price.
Also remember that there are a lot more factors than price - do you have a good location? Do you advertise? Do you provide extra services? Do you do custom orders? Rush orders? Are you reliable? If you are a lousy businessman and/or a pain to do business with a lot of people won't bother with you, no matter what your prices are. If you have a good location, good reputation, and do what you say you'll do, people will pay higher prices for those "intangibles".
Good luck.
