Hi,

This is my take on the whole Jedi thing, Nancy can feel free to correct me at anytime.


First, I believe that everyone in the game will eventually get a visit from the old geezer. Why cause even my pathetic Master BE/ Master Musician (oh yeah I made it) has a slight tingle. Only brand new noobs don't feel squat.


Second, I believe that it is SOE's desire that everyone be some kind of Jedi, so they are really pushing us.


Third, I believe this is going to make a caste system, and that folks is what we will have Jedi Wars.


Fourth, the whole system of Jedi is so warped that Yodi would roll over in his grave right now. For most people, 90% being Jedi is their hope at instant win or instant fun. Under this system it is simply just another profession to grind. There are zero role playing perks for being a Jedi and that is really a shame. Remember what this is called a "massively multiplayer online ROLE PLAYING" game. There has been no role playing in this game since the first holocron was found.


SOE wanted to force us together into groups to play this game. Well we are in groups now, SOLO groups. No one actually hunts together or does things together, you group so you can pull those big missions so you can go out and kill stuff, so you can grind another profession so you can open an FS slot so you can grind another profession, why?


There are no dark side force points to gain by being a real jerk. If there was most of the Jedi I know would be Dark side. Dark side was kill, destroy, maim. That in a nutshell is what the Jedi are in this game. There are no Light side Jedi, who are great with a sabre but use the subtle parts of the force to move people in ways that they wouldn't normally go. Nope SOE has taken the subtlety of the Force out of the game. Most Jedi are about as subtle as a bull in a china shop.


Why am I so cranky, well Dathomir has become the Jedi Grind planet. Yesterday, I was out trying to get DNA from a Mutant Rancor. Suddenly on the horizon appears a Jedi jerk, he whips into my spawn of Mutants, kills them and is gone. No, sorry were doing something here, nothing. One eyed focus, Jedi XP gotta get it, KILL KILL KILL.


God help us now the Jedi have arrived and the game is down the toilet.



....and then no matter how hard we get nerfed, we still keep CH because we are still some of the coolest characters on the game.

I hit Yavin 4 last night and now I am surging with the Force, I will hit lok and the Rebel theme park tonight and get the warren double header on Saturday. Then that should get me glowin then it is just a matter of time.

Went to Lok got Nym done really easy, if you ever thought of doing this crafter people now is the time... they were walk throughs... all three missions were already cleared people were all over these... I killed a wopin three MOBS.

And got my slug gun and the badge.

There are only 3 missions, i think it was designed when all you could do was walk...

All three things are a billion miles from Nym, which at inception was the only city now you can shuttle down to within a 1000 meters and then swoop over to the cave... walk in crack the computer... orange, 720, Sir! and then take the chip back...

Then go to the completely no spawning cave and get some stupid poison gas...

Then go to the lab get the two things for nym kill another guy and then go back... CAKE!

I am half way through the Rebel Theme park... still surging...

Tonight should finsih and head to warren I Imagine it will be packed and I will just walk in and fight a couple people nothin big get my last 2 badges and wait for old dude.

In case anyone is interested or still has questions; guildmates of mine who were not glowie on patch day, but have since become glowie, have been visited by the old man.


The 'Groups' that have been talked about are just for hologrinders that did not unlock.

ALSO if you ever thought Hey I would like to go to the Warren or Hey Nym seems like decent Scum, or I wonder what my faction theme park would be like... DO IT NOW, DO IT!

Now is the time, they are flooded!!!!!

And for us non combat folks it is prime time.

Yeah, isn't that the truth. When the Warren came out, I had 3 out of 4 of the pieces of evidence and met a sudden demise. I went back yesterday and everyone before me cleared it out, so it was just a matter of navigating that damn maze.


Went from a faint sense in the force, to glowing in a few hours yesterday. It helps that I had already taken care of the long themeparks before the publish, though.

ok,


I went to Correllia got buffed, went to the warren took 45 min. of driving around looking for the esacpe guy, finnaly asked someone who had just seen him and was on my way. I went in followed the guide from SWG.STRATICS.COM, was looting the corpses and lockers getting the elevator keys, then went to get the turret code from the corpse by the elevator... nothing for like 20 min so asked someone they told me th code.


Went to the turret deactivation room, it was already deactivated...so went to the elevator control room... stoped to look at the turret... went VRWWW! BLAM! BLAM! shot me twice in the head and I died.... so then I went back out to the Warren (yes I cloned this time) and then went back up to the control room... this time I stood by the door it opened and I ran (not burst) into the control room.


THere was a guy in there and he asked if I had the keys... he want me to do a specific one, but i did all of them... I ran out same way I cam in and then back down to the master Elevator... rhode down to the sublevels. so far not a shot fired or Gahffi stick swung. Wondered for like 1hr looking for the Frickin Wife, then finally I decided to start at the map and figure it out, after this I was in great shape.... I looked at the map, looked at the walkthrough, and went to an elevator I had never uised before.... Talked to wife, told her the bad news, she told me to look for this other lady for another disk... SO I went for the other lady downloading evidence from the terminals all the way...


GOt to the dead lady, there were 6 guys fighting over the corpse and telling each other how much they were going to sell the information to each other for, while I stood there clicking my arm off... I got it in 2 min. and left Read my directions and went to a new elevator down to the basement. Went for the reactor coils, and waited for ever, then got them.... followed the directions went to the control room that looked vaugley familiar and got booted out of the warren with another guy!!!! WHAT! we were both pretty mad!!


SO we go back in and elevator is locked again!! ARRGHG! so I tell him I will go unlock it... go back to key loot room, and there is a guy camping there to sell the stuff to people... (what is wrong with people) So I keep checking around, I notice he goes AFK, I check the mag seal next to him and BOOM key #2... for some reason I check my inventory and realize that that was the key the guy made me use before and that was the only key I used!!! wahoo, ran up unlocked the elevator, ran down to the elevator, circled around for the coils...


Got there grabed the one, went to the other room for the other and NOTHING! It was empty, CRAP! so I had to wait, and Wait, and wait, and wait... sat for seemed like 30-40 min. (not sure on actual) Decided to look at my disks that are in my datapad since nothing else to do... i count 4? I think 4? I thought there were only 4 total (and the encryp disk) so I check the guide verify the #'s and then realize HOLY FRICKEN CRAP!!! I am done!!!!! I must have gotten the disk when someone else unlocked the control room, when I was wondering... SO I get my booty out of there and swoop to the outpost Fly back to corellia to go to the captin at the corsec base (shut up!) then I check the disk and the disk said NABOO Palace??? I say Crap!, some guy says what, I say too long to explain, and catch a /bo trans to Theed... wonder the city looking for the HUGEST STRUCTURE IN THE GAME I THINK and finally find it.... lol


Walk in find the guy on the right give him my stupid, stupid evidence and BADOOW!BADGE! What did I do next... I logged it was 4:30AM.. HELLS NO I did a /check and I am glowing with the FORCE baby! Then IE-mailed ZIPWADAto rub it in... and LOGGED.

Mee too, I finsihed the Warren got both badges and got Glowy... now where's that old man.

I lucked out...I saw the old man about a day after I got glowy. It was funny because I was busy complaining to my guild about all the lair spawns around my factory and suddenly the guy walks up behind me. I was ready to tell whoever it was that I didn't have samples on me to make him a pet

Had made it out to the Gungan Secret Place Monday Night and no luck with Old man... I logged on last night and he was standing over me trying to tell me something important. Now just waiting on the sith Shadows.
