Yeah, mawgax are the big dodo lookin birds on Yavin IV. I'm not sure if you can get missions for them, but I think you can. They seem relatively common in the wild in either case, but there are a ton of aggro mobs on Yavin. It's like peppered with them in most places.

As stated by another chef on Lowca, I swear this stuff is "rarer than holocrons" on my server.

It is everywhere.... I used to have a small pile back from the first month the game was out... now it's almost non-existant...

Too bad creatures that were tamed and released by creature handlers can't be found and slaughtered for domesticated meat...

Either that, or CH's could train them and such, and them sell them to chefs for the chefs to kill and gain meat from... domesticated animal=domesticated meat... I think a chef could have some skill in butchering an animal. Maybe.

Humbabas (Corellia and Talus) are the only major source of Domesticated Meat that I am aware of. There are a few other beasties out there with domesticated, but Humbabas seem to be the only ones that I have seen in abundance (particularly on Talus near Dearic).

Mawgax on yavin 4 are another good source of domesticated meat. The savaage humbabas in the agrilat swamp are good as well, and spawn fairly frequently there. These should all be spawnable in terminals as well.

I ran into many Domestic Eopies on Tatooine the other day that I was able to harvest for Domesticated Meat.

From a search on a nice little site called www.swgcreatures.com, here are the creatures that drop domesticated meat:

not that great but I hear ya'll will take what you can get.

I wouldn't expect to be able to gouge chefs with that low of quality. Try the bioengineer forum.

yeah I dont think I'd touch that stuff, its way too low.

Hook up with a chef that makes Glucose Pate on your server. This stuff will still make +420 Mind/Focus foods if the other minable resources are good. Glucose Pate is sought after by many on the Corbantis server and I'll take any and all domesticated meat at 10 cpu or more.
