Sorry for not having my signature up to date. The original impression would have been i am strictly a CH. My alt has actually been a Master BE for some time now. That being said I still would not charge more than say 10K for this pet. Could I get more, absolutely. But why artificially inflate the market.

While the 10K HAM is nice, the two biggest drawbacks for this pet are it's lack of armor and no specials. The lack of specials can be overcome right now since they are not always a 100% thing in combat. The lack of armor is another thing. Any pet without armor will be harder to move than one with. I would say focus on getting armor to stick and you will have yourself a steady source of income for well into the future.

You're still missing the point tarn...yeah a CH can go out a tame a wild creature at CL 15 and get better stats. But you have to have novice scout, 2 full teirs in scout, novice CH and a couple boxes in CH to get CL 15....That's a lot of SP and that SP could be used in a combat class. That is why people pay that much cause they don't have to bother w/scout or CH and can get a 4k health tank for them.

I dont think I am.

I did say that you could probably get Non CH to pay silly money for such a pet.

Thats one of the better non CH pets I've seen. Easily 50k for the pet, though I'd seriously consider charging more. Many of the comments about a non CH pet are rediculous. Armor on a non CH pet, what are you thinking? This is a great pet worth money. Don't compare it to a CL15-25 pet, its not meant for a CH crowd, it was made for people without novice CH.

Its easy to justify a 50k+ price for this type of pet. The materials are near nill, but the time factor is huge. Master combat professions can solo 10-20k missions in relatively little time. Compare that to the time you put into making your goods. Also consider amount of cloning, insurance, travel, research, and crit failures.

Also never price a pet based soley on CL, that is a bad pricing system. Its easy to make a CL40-60pet, but its skill to make a CL30pet with better stats than those CL40-60 pets.

anywhere from 20k-70k depending on the customer... if your putting it on your vendor I would go with 50k-70k, but in person I give a discount (unless it's a special order... then I add another 10-20k just for special orders)...

also if you can effectively make these on a regular basis or if this was a wow I wonder what I did to make this... If you can make these reliably... sell low, but alot of em... if it is a rare one... sell for more...

If I make a decent non ch pet and it is rare for me to make what I consider decent I sell for 40-50k.. if it is the typical 1k-2k Ham low resist one special lvl 7 critter I sell for about 30k on vendor 20k in person... people buy em... and If I make a totale POS pet... (level 17 with like 1k ham and 20-30kinetic) I sell it for 100 per level or resample it for the kinetic resist and low ham to use in a second gen...

I have yet to have someone complain about my prices...when people see the finished product and i tell them the price they say they want to buy for their friends and buy 4, 5 or 6 at a time. I've had people negotiatea price with me, but not once has anyone ever said, "That's way too much for a pet" The only people that I've heard complain was a CH. So sell your pets at what you want, it's not for me to tell you how to run your business. So make as much or as little as you like. Don't get me wrong I've sold pets for 10k & 20k before and it's because they guy's like I don't have any money or he's new and needs the help. I'd rather help someone by giving them a pet to run missions and get them xp then to give them 20k and have them waste is on stupid crap that they have no use for. So take it for what it's worth

you use the dasher/pup/pup/dasher/pup formula on that? I think that was almost exactly what I got out of that combo last night when I tried it just for kicks. I stuck mine into a dewback though. cat skins are nice but dewbacks double as mounts. wasnt that dificult to make but to a nonCH it should be worth decent money. A CH wouldnt want to use that except maby at novice because they can use better but thats quite good for non CH. makeing better than that and still <CL10 is a pain in the rump

I didn't even notice it until now...but everyone that said 1k per CL or something like that isn't even a BE...they're CH's...yeah the 1k per CL may work for them...but for our time as a BE it's worth a lot more...we have to sample numerous creatures to get the correct dna and then once we get the DNA, it's trail and error after to see what combo works best...It's up to you Nancy, what's your time worth? For a CH all they have to do is walk up to creature and tame it and bam he has a new pet...we have to sample a pet 5 times (sucessfully), go and find a good crafting station so we can experiment on the DNA templet, then once we get the templet we craft the creature...I didn't even mention wasted DNA on Crit Failures...Don't sell yourself short and don't listen to Non-BE's for you're prices...you dictate the price of your pets cause in the end it comes down to what you value you're time at.

And you wonder why CHs want to see BEs nerfed? I'll take sampling over taming any day. The problem is, it has to be a baby. I've travelled for an hour without seeing a baby spawn, except for junk, and even few of them. I can get about 10-15 samples per baby without taking into account the time wasted on the babies.

But, you can dictate any price you want, as long as the market is there and willing to pay. There are many non-CH professions that haul in big bucks and it's worth whatever they'll put up. The economy makes credits pretty worthless, so they're equally worthless to everyone.
