I'm glad people on the jedi forums show their maturity and outright helpfulness. No wonder there are so many private jedi forums now.

There are private forums due to rude trolls like you. It has been stated plenty of times that the path to Jedi is completely random, there are no patterns no secret formulas. We cant help you get the slot, the tooth fairy cant help you nor Santa Claus the only person that can help you is yourself so dont bother praying to Jesus for help either. Also its been asked by plenty of Jedi that people stop posting this crap yetpeople like you persist in posting and thats the reason why we have so many private Jedi forums.

I'm not sure I know what you're talking about, but I'll try...

I think you're asking if you needed to have a holocron on your person at any given time. You don't. The holocrons only tell you what professions you need to master - which is an integral part of your character and assigned to you upon creation. You don't need to carry the holocrons around, or keep them on your character for any reason.

Once you master enough professions and yourholocrons go silent, you might as well sell them since you can't use them anymore. When you open your last holocron and it's 'silent', it won't disappear and you can pass it to another who might get use from it.

I need help. I have just reached the novice pikeman level and I have no idea what to do next. My biggest problem and the most pressing one is the fact that I can't find a suitable creaature to kill. One suggestion of attacking quenkers was totally out of the question as they appear as red to me. The only viable creature that I can find to kill are rogue bagerasets as I can kill them with one hit with polearm hit 2 and they give the nice sum of 700 exp for killing them. The problem is I can't find a mission for them. So that laves me with the choice of dire cats but they are still too hard because although I can kill one at a time they aggro you all at once and kill me instantly. Second is I need a good pike(mines OK at 100 min and 350 max damage and a 3.1 attack speed but it doesn't have any DoT's) but I can't find one at all let alone find one with a decent price. Last is the fact that I can't buy armor and even if I could it seems to hurt me more than help me (I have a composite armor chest plate with OK stats but a 220 health encumbrance that I bought for 22k, was this about the right price or was I getting jipped) so could anyone tell me the best price/effectiveness ratio. Any tips would be nice.

Go out, earn about 15k credits and buy yourself a set of buffs from a master Doctor. The buffs will let you take on the higher end creatures because they augment your stats significantly.

You do not need a dot lance, they won't do much of anything for you in PvE. What you want to concentrate on is a high damage per second. You may want to stick with the low speed pike for now as i did when grinding and then switch to a higher end one later on.

If money is your issue and you need better armor look into a set of Ubese Kinetic protection armor being that most creatures deal kinetic damage.

Grind the line with pikeman speed first, use your area of effect hits on mobs that are social.

I personaly spent a great deal of time grinding in the Jindu Cave (i think that's the name don't hold me to it) on Endor. It's a POI only about 1.7k meters from the smugglers outpost.

It seems to me that your grind problem stems from a money issue. I recomend running some missions or collecting credits in whatever way you can to get yourself some better equipment. Let me know if you have any questions about the pricing of equipment.
