the problem is that the two tamable creatures at CL 50 are... well... not worth the CL 50 rating.

CL sub35 pets rock. riverside sulfur mynocks, bloodseeker mite queens, bile-drenched quenkers, and mountain squills... as well as the graul mauler... are serious contenders in the pet world.

the coming CH changes will be addressing this. by shifting the skill tree, and the CL derived from it, you'll see a lot more variance (or so the devs hope).

but remember... the skill tree is NOT the only thing being changed... the devs are ALSO going to be tweaking creature stats... and adding tamable creatures. no one can say yet, but I'd guess that the graul mauler won't be CL 34 for long... and adding CL 50+ pets will probably mean giving us some options as far as big'uns go, which the rancor and gurreck simply don't offer now.

It still exists.

- I saw an enraged kimogilla yesterday with medium (Lok - 300m south of Nym's).
- A few days ago I saw a canyon krayt with heavy armor (Tatooine - krayt graveyard).

It is rare and only on the biggest of creatures now. Some of the larger rancors might have it, but I have not been to Dathomir since the patch.

Some rancor (forgot if it was enraged bull or something like that) Medium amor with 60% resists to a couple of damages. I remembered one was kinetic.

i took on a krayt with heavy armor yesterday 290k ham

not a creature, but i took out a 31k ham medium armor 80% special protection resists to all except 5% restraint, FS npc jedi, that was amazing, my best kill ever, yes i had pets

if you are looking for med armor to get DNA you will not find any MED armor pets under CL 80

A blurrg variant (raptor?) on endor has medium armor as well....seen only a couple though....

Just a hypothetical question kinda...

If you were to create a medium armor pet, with over 10k health, about half action, and a mind bar a little lower than the action, and 60% kinetic,how much would you sell it for?
