There are now other CL70 creatures in existance. Thus the very highest a bio-eng can make for blending critters is CL65. If they increase sampling to allow for CL150 dna then we can actually produce CL70 clones with some variety.
Alternatively they could start adding more species in the CL70-75 range but thats is alot more work than simply changing a number of our cap in the code.
God that would be nice, hell even raise it to 85 so we can sample malkoc plains walker females or enraged bull rancors. I mean if were careless we end up producing a statue anyways thats untamable, and they can make it difficult as hell (im used to getting squished). But your right, at this rate theres going to be alot of Mutant Rancor like critters out there soon 
Unfortuantely what is far more likely is that SoE will just raise the level of the mutant rancors. Without raising our cap.
