Well I think the devs agree with me, why else would they put in a warning message before you buy anything ina backpack?

Idon't disagreewith you Zadokk, but the backpack message is the stupidest, most annoying thing in the game. The message tells you that you don't know what's in the backpack. And it tells you that even when the backpack is obviously empty, lol. Real helpful. We KNOW we don't know what's inside the backpack. How is that helpful? grrrrr.

I'll tell you something. That backpack message is certainly not something in the game to help noobs. It's in the game so that a CSR can say "well we SHOWED you a dialog when you bought that, so we wash our hands of it" when someonecomplains about it. It's to cover their own behinds, not help noobs.

I agree that it may seem bureaucratic to put it in, sort of to cover their skins from whining people who got ripped off but I think it also serves a helpful reminder to newbies that it might not do what it says on the tin. I would prefer, if there was a checkbox option to disable it - that way experienced players who KNOW the contents can disable it.

Lol why am I the only one defending the noobs here, you guys are evil...

Evil? what gave that away? the hard-to-miss signature of ArthurDentOfBria? or the booming and sinister laughter?

It was the long fingernails clutching your wooden staff and stroking your long beard.

1) I don't know where that staff went.
2) I trimmed my nails earlier this week.
3) it's a GOATEE (perhaps more properly called a 'van dy.ke (had to add the period, because apparently the dutch aren't allowed to have last names on these forums)'), and not a beard.

are you stalking me?

DOOM! DOOOOOOM!
