Thread: So long and thanks for all the fish
Ivoni, you have no idea how disappointing it is to hear you have decided to leave. I understand completely. The potential in SWG is just that...potential. But it is potential as of yet unrealized. This of course leads to frustration and disappointment.
I hope you change your mind but if you do not I wish you well and thanks for all the advice and help you have given all of us who play SWG as commandos.

Ivoni,
I have nothing to say except that I completely agree and will most likely be following you soon.
Thank you for all the information you presented us here in this board, it was far far more than any of the developers provided.
Later man, hope to see you in another game.
I am sorry to see you leave
but the same goes for me i havent signed in the game for 8 days now and i use to play every day 12 houres a day
really they just dont seem to get it all i've seen is them care about there mony if your paying them they dont care its taoltly dissapointing
for exampel we sed NO NO NO NO NO to decay but they still put it in they dont care waht we say !!!
Sad to see you go too...i was waiting for that from novice to master jedi guide.. heh
but i feel about the same, actually.. there needs to be so much more substance to this game that it is getting pathetic... the last two weeks the most exciting thing i'd been looking forward to was getting a set of green 65% kinetic ubese armor... That's truly pathetic, actually, but true, and if jedi sucks as bad as you say it does, i don't see much more reason to stay.
Good luck, and fun gaming.. hope you find something fun, and when you do, tell us about it
Oberon
I'm new to Commando, and the Commando forum, I don't know you, but I've read your posts, and I'm very sorry to see you go, you really captured the spirit of what MMPORGS are all about, exploration, trying all the possibilities, and really getting stuck in!
Like I said, I don't know you, but I'd like to ask you a big favour (hehe, no, not "Can I have your stuff"):
Give it 3 months, and come back, sign up for a month and have a wander around, I still truly believe that the pre-release statementsare true "It takes 6 months of live for a game like this to settle down and balance out".
There's no point in hanging around if you aren't enjoying it, go find something else to do, but just try and come back.
Cheers Mate
Man, how sad. Questions:
1. What is it about SWG that pales in comparison to other MMOGs?
2. Do other MMOGs go through similar development stages?
2. Is it to easy to max out your character in SWG?
3. Do other MMOGs have more content because they have been out longer?

No sense in playing a game you have to pay for when you can't have fun the way you like to. Cheers Ivoni, hope the next game you play offers you more to explore. Thx for all the info you posted on the board. It has helped me understand the commando proffession alot better than I would have otherwise.
Well I read this the other day and just could not believe it.
I'm sad your going. You are a master among masters. You will be sorely missed. I hope we will see you agian sometime. If not, farewell.
Seems like Thunderheart has some good intentions and we are actually starting to see some changes. I guess we'll see what truely comes to be in the proximate future. I would hate to see you go, if we truely started to see some good . . .
But, if you are not having fun (this seems a popular trend lately) you should not force yourself to play.
Anyway, cheers man.
Goodnight, Sweet Prince! You've been with us since we were gimped and "Mostly Harmless". You're guides helped me through Unarmed 4 and to Master Commando. You're the correspondent we never had. Have a good one, Ivoni. See you later, true believer.
