I hit a million today for the first time. I just made MBE about 2 weeks ago. I have 1 factory running, and the curve is starting to accelerate as I can afford to buy larger quantities of resources. My main goal is to have enough money in the bank to buy any ship I want when JTL comes out, and I have a hunch they will cost a lot.

Yeah, I'm not thinking of buying one in the first few days. I don't expect I'll ever have hundreds of millions, but that's fine with me. I just want to have enough money to buy the armour I want, the gun i want, the ship i want, etc.
So far no shortage of demand for my goods. There doesn't seem to be many MBE's active on Flurry right now. Every time i send a tell to a tailor, they are like "Hell yes I'm interested in those tissues and when can you get me more!?" etc. Chefs seem to be a little more picky, only want my goods when I can supply 20 crates or more at a time. A level which I am not at yet.

I was a Master Merchant/Master BE that specialized in chef and tailor tissues. I've been forced into retirement since the price of decent meat shot up from 15 cpu to 50-100 cpu. Chefs probably wouldn't buy my additives if I sold them at cost. I had about 65 million credits in the bank when I stopped purchasing resources about a little over a month ago.As my well-stocked vendorscontinue to empty,I have reached over 100 million credits in my bank, all from BE. According to my spreadsheet, I have grossed about 155 million credits since I started business 5 months ago.

I have around 10M but that's after I brought 2 loot kits not long after they came out. I also support my fighting with my BE money.
I make Lvl 10 pets, mainly mountables and sell them for 40k each. Icet seems to be pretty well known now,, if I can just keep the vendor stocked that is. getting samples is getting rather boring and I have closed my vendors for a bit.

back in my days (god i miss them so much, i wanted to make another mbe on tc ahazi, but they took that down :/ ) i made about 2-3 million selling just pets (they were the most fun to make and i hate gathering resources) and at least 5 million in special orders of pets.

I sit on 2-3 mill in the bank all the time - I make about 1 mill every two-three days just from guld business - If I wanted to get serious I'd make money more- but then I couldn't chase jedi in a gank squad or mess about roaming poi's. Meat is getting expensive because everyone is so focused on jedi and jtls so I tend to bide my time buying a bit here and a bit there and then doing a max sized run every few days (3 factories) and I make pets every chance i get and sell em on the bazaar at 6k each regardless - I sell all of them every day (25 is the mx I think) and it's not worth doing pet custom orders anymore... oh and I give away millions every week to my guild mates and to keep the city afloat
gawd I love being a BE

I concur with most of you. I make a descent living as MBE. I have been MBE since last October. I only make money from food though. But I am running into the chefs who only want BSN+85 or more, INN+115, etc.. And the cost to make them for the high end flora and meat is rediculous. I think I can make more money just huntng for Dr resources when they are good.
I love making the pets but they take alot of time adn now no one really uses them that much. Like others I am saving for a cool ship. SO until then I will make my nutrients and save

I have found it MUCH easier to sell to Tailors than to Chefs. Many chefs are fussy, and will only take orders in lots of 20 crates or more, etc. I spend tons of time trying to find affordable resources in large enough quantities to satisy orders such as that. Tailors, on the other hand, will typically buy anything as long as it's crated. Severaltailors I deal with basically have a standing order with me for whatever I can find resources to make.

I have over 30m but pretty much none of that came from BEing.
Some of you may remember way back when, that I was going to quit BE and become an armoursmith for a while, so I spent probably 10m on resources but when it came to drpping BE, I just couldnt do it.
So 3-4 months later I still had a load of armoursmith resources. Sold the lot for around 42 million credits on a 1 week auction.

I first did BE back before the chef/BE revamp as part of the holo grind. As much as I enjoyed BE, I couldn't make any cash at it. The only chef I found that would use the additives was a guildie and he never paid.
Now with the shortage of BE's, I can't keep up with the orders. I have about 10 mil in the bank and would make more if I really tried.
I can't even find a tailor these days. Since they never fixed the condition of clothing problem, people just don't buy as much clothing.

19 million at the moment, all from one chef. There is a guild chef I supply for free, though, that cuts into my profits. It really helps, with swordsman, being able to gather 20k meat an hour when the Dath carnivore is good.

Hmm.. I started BE in December-ish. My guildmate was a chef who was very excited about the Chef revamp coming up, she convinced be to pick the profession up to help he and her partner inbusiness. At first we didn't know what things were worth, but they were makign huge profits from their food, so we settled at 50ka crate of Mediums. At that time brandy was the big thing. then they eventually experimented with other foods, requiring light and mediums, which made food that were sleightly less profitable. After much discussion for the business oriented chef, we decided on a pricing scheme that I still use to this day, no matter who the chef is "One price All Chefs" I do my part to keep the playign field level.
I had started with a single factory, but couldnt keep up with the demands of my guildmates partner. Eventually I borrowed my friends med's factory 80% of the time and used that. I expanded on to 4 factories on borrowed lots. Eventually I set up the 16 factory operation on Naboo i have today.
I think from January I must have grossed over 500m, but i spent a lot on resources and architectural stuff.
I bought 30-40 of each type of harvestor, and set up a loan centre for my guild. Bought housing for anyone to use. Paid the weekely maintenance on teh city (may it rest in peace). Donations to server events. Random donations to random people running by...Startup capital for new chefs...
Just beforemy my buyer closed up shop for RL issues, I began to branch out to make stims and Tailor goods, which allowed me to meet many friendly people. However, finding quality resources keeps my from being consistent in this field.
as for my bank, I'm sitting on a fluid worth of a little over 100m.. I have a good time, my customers all like me, I treat my customers well and we all have fun and make our fair share of profit.
