LOL. I was thinking just the opposite, that they should either put large quantities of eggs in each lair corresponding to the difficulty of creature whose lair it is, or they should take them completely out of the lair and have us harvesting them from birds and reptilesas an alternative tomeat.

The butterflies, etc. in the lair make a pretty decoration at weddings. An artisan can put them into cages to be released at the appropriate time. It looks great, and I'd hate to lose it entirely, but it shouldn't be making eggs as rare as they are.
Oddly, it seems that most things we use are difficult to obtain, and worse, difficult to get anyone to consider obtaining them for us for payment. Eggs, milk, DNA, and fish are all in our schematic set, yet very difficult to obtain in any large quantity. I haven't decided whether I hate this or find a devious pleasure in the fact that our resulting products are also difficult to find.
As for purchasing eggs: I don't have myoflex on my vendor. Any tissues I make sell in a very short period of time. I usually do myoflex as a special order, and convince the tailor who wants it to help me collect eggs. This also helps in that it allows the tailor to see why it is impossible to buy a full 1000 enhanced myoflex anywhere. I typically allow a tailor who collects eggs with me to pay me whatever he or she feels appropriate. Oddly, after the experience, I typically receive more than I would have asked for it. As it is now, I have no idea how much to charge, since I haven't seen it or any other BE tissue on a vendor anywhere in a very long time.
