Seeing as we've had alot of questions on these last two, and we've got a pet crafting sticky... if enough folks deem this worthy... maybe Talthazar will sticky this for us.

Vorgus, yeah I almost always use AdvLS in my B's... matter of fact can't remmeber last time I didn't use AdvLS.

Thanks Wolfguy. The d for delta... I was leary of using that and want to find some time to rewrite this guide with better explanations of the math inside of it. The ratios and the d aren't common language and I'd like to get those spelled out better. Maybe after finals this semester, but for those not familiar with "delta" it just means the change from A to B.

I definetaly understand that, but since I never hit Master (lack of skill points ) I can assure you the penalty for using normal Liquid Suspensionswas even higher for me, than it is at your level. Your extra experiment points can pull the values a lot closer than a lower level BE can manage, they simply can't experiment up high enough, unless they can get a starting value that is much higher than yours would have to be, to get the same end result (or as good as they can, whichever comes first).

Again... Major props, for an excellent experiment, and your full documentation of it, and this thread needs a sticky beyond question.

Well I almost exclusively sell Stim B's. My Stim Bs are currently a 755 heal and 34 charges. The easy availablility of talusian fungus outweighs the annoyance of collecting Dath insect meat or fish for me.

WOW. Thanx. I'll try not using Adv. CRDM. That herb meat is a pain to get. We'll see if it's worht the drop in power. Plus, Class 4 liquid is not on my server now .

Be aware that some doctors are good and some arent. I had a 2 doctors make a ADV liquid for me with 110 power. I was also able to come close to that. Another Doctor with the same stuff make it 164. Ok, that'll work. I will have to put up with this annoyance I guess. None of the BE's are trying to get control of this.

With the massive amount of resources that is required, it is annoying to have to have a Doctor make a schematic. Artisans build every part of a building. They don't have to go to an archetech to buy a schematic. Doctors build every part of their stims and they use them to heal pets... My pet stims do not work on people.

Come to think of it, artisans dont have to learn 6 different professions to become a Master.

Yes, you need to trust your doc. Luckily I have two PA members (we're a very small tight group) who are master doctors. One of these days maybe I'll break down what a resource should give you, which is entirely possible as I've seen some weaponsmith posts which can tell you exactly what a specific resouce combination will max out at.

If you don't have the luxury of a PA member being a doctor, my suggestion is to figure out who the top notch doctors are on the server (they're the ones posting to your server boards with killer stims and most likely run a store). It is more costly than depending on a friend, but approach them about buying full runs (or buying the schematic with enough resources for a 1000 run). Because they are visible members of the community, most likely they will do their best for you.

I have figured out several. I have a list of 6 I use. But I have a high volume operation and often need schematics every day. Like how big a stack of herb meat can you get and how many stims will that make. All too often, none of the 6 are on or available.... They can not make stuff and leave it on their vendor of put it on your vendor. They have to use your resources. This does not work.

But since you can use Macros to become a Master BE while you sleep, I assume that is why their are many Doctors that do not have a clue what they are doing. I taught a Doctor yesterday how to make a schematic.. and it is me that is depending on his skill.. I use 5 factories and often have all 5 running.

Heheh you sound like me when I'm on a roll... 5 factories.. .would be more if I had the meat to run tissues too. I've slowed way down the last two weeks though, **edit** holocraze has me.

For advanced LSs you should be looking for something close to 200 on power if you are getting a master doctor to do it. I am 2 boxes from top of doctor crafting tree and the lowest advanced LS I've made for factory is 152 power.

Normal CRMs should be at least 16 power (again even I make 16s so closer to 20 would be master doc).

Idon'tremember stats on advanced BECs since I usually used 8 charge, 4 power BECs...the whole 12 resources versus 32 thing.

I'm trying to keep the sticky clutter to a minimum, but I thought this should go in the FAQ the first time I saw it. What I've done is combine the FAQ, this and a couple other posts in one thread to consolidate everything. You should see it at the top of the list now.
