Thread: PLS stop our DNA dissapearing when we crit fail!!
i say stop whining
other professions crit fail and lose really good stuff too. thats part of the game. suck it up.. thats why not everyone will stick with the crafting professions.. because its not EASY
my two credits
Whether you make good animals or not isn't the point. YAY that you're well known and proud of yourself. That isn't the point either. Your gender is pointless as well.
I'm not asking that animals be made in a factory. Never said that ever and you'll never hear me saying that. The issue isn't making animals in a factory. The issue isn't the money I or anyone elsesells animals for either. The issue is very simple, at least for most people to pick up. We have the same fail rate as someone thatuses a factory. You may be happy losing tons of resources but the general BE populous doesn't seem to be as thrilled about it. Again, suck that up big guy.
By the way, I was a BE when we could sample DNA from pets
That was a LONG time ago.
Greets,
I actually have been doing ok on my pet crafting. Selling is another matter.
I have a ton of people that see my clones say how awesome they are but nobody is really buying. I can get 10 billion request for non ch pets a day tho. Lucky for me I guess I just really do it to see what kinda new life I can make (aka experiment like mad with various combo's). I like to collect dna off big/nasties just because its more ah interseting. It give my CH stuff to play with as well.
So last night... my BE has a side job in Combat Med. I had a spider venom I got and wanted to mess around. Using a +42.xx station and my +15 kit... of course I crited on that.
I understand the concept of keeping top items from being common. Trying to cut down on trash etc... However, the price one can sell at, for the time invested does not compute.
I don't know really exactly the best way to put this but..
Theyadded item decay imho so that crafters who said they couldn't maintain a market would feel as tho something were being done. My reaction is to craft everything I need myself thus decay didn't help there.
Crit failures don't affect me market wise because I mostly support friends... who gather resources for me and we hunt together..etc.. But it does waste my time and cause aggrevation. I'm not sure if it was a fluke today or... ? But my standard way of obtaining Mutant rancor dna didn't seem to be working at all. But I don't pay attention to patch notes because there is more written there than my ramble here... so maybe that's an as intended fix... so that you can't get aoe mobs to aggro each other... or was just bad luck.
Basicly in the end... beyond paying monthly etc...
A game is supposed to entertain me. When it starts to cause more aggrevation and takes more years off my life than the toxins in the real world... its time to move on.

I noted the same thing. I thought the mutants had just gotten smarter; it really sucked to get AoE-bled in the middle of the pack, and, instead of everyone going after the one who AoE-ed me, they all came after me. Hopefully that's not supposed to be how it works, because if it is...the number of pets produced using mutant rancor DNA is going to precipitously decrease :-/
