Just to add... I made a Great Kimo with amazing stats for a Wookie Master CH that was convinced that he could tame it with his buffs and what not. So far he has failed.

They are furniture, that is their only purpose. If you put them on a vendor they will go fast no matter what information you include. I don't like selling to that market, I will hand that business over to a BE with the black hat.

Maybe because some of the aspects which are broken we actually liked...

First it was baby dna (woo hooo 8000 ham dewbacks) which they fixed, next it was the uber-exp from clones they corrected, followed by the recent harvesting from dead donars, now it's the kimogila. Sure we like those bugs but they are indeed still broken parts of the profession, it's only considered a nerf by people when something is taken away they like but shouldn't be there.

So you think that is a permenant thing then? No more sampling from uber creatures? What sence does this make? I can sample from a ryll but not from a krayt or Kimo?

Well for starters we're all in the same basket here, so we're all on even terms for making clones. No one here (or at least very few) have samples for critters over CL60 anymore so there's little reason to complain. Plus within a month the new cloning system comes in and if you stick a kimogila sample into a clone you'll probably end up with a CL rated pet which no one can tame. Try to look at the near future before having a knee jerk reaction to the current situation.

As for the difference between a ryll and a krayt... it's around 17 tonnes

i just wanted to point out that these buffs are on taming wild and vicious creatures, and that for a tame to succeed, you needed max level of pets at the same CL or higher than the creature that your trying to tame, along with max number level of pets. And max level of pets is stuck at 50 so thats why it will never work.

Yeah but CSR also say things like 'threat from houses are part of the game design' when the clones on display could be sampled or tamed. Plus when items go missing they also say they can't do anything about it when we all know they have the ability to create items on command and search though every trade and transation made.

CH will now be keeping their CL 70 totalcap, but the CL 60 capfor individual creatures is dissapearing. its possible that old kimos might actually be tameable by a master CH wearing tranqs after the CH "nerf"(whenever milk shows up, that is). im planning on creatingone kimo from the best DNA i canfind and saving it just to test this out, dont hold your breath waiting for a confirmation though.

i do beleive that kimos will stay in our cloning line asoneof the"appearances" for our new clones, but they will be created just like all the clones after the changes so their stats wont be where they are now. thats my prediction/hope, but i wouldnt be surprised if they took them away.

tal-n: ialso normallysay kimogila for plural, but i think we may be wrong. look at gila/gilas (gila monsters). im not sure thats even correct come to think about it. oh well :\

the CL on the kimos we make is CL 90. You will never have CL +90. The tranqs only improve your chances of taming a creature. no one will ever own a kimo pet.

There is some controversy over the kimos level people have come and said for sure regular kimo is 70 and you guys are getting mixed up with enraged kimo or something I don't have ranger or master scout so don't ask me. if they are 70 then eventually they should be tameable.

They are level 90. A wookie with +10 race mod, plus +25 tame mod can technically tame a +95 critter, but It doesn't work. There are no Kimo babies in wild - and my experience is that no creature can be tamed if a baby version does not exist. Maybe one day.
