I use some very similar except I leave the creature name first. I may change that to the level first like this but lower case "cl" would fall in a separate area of a sort. I used to put each pool in the HAM section but got lazy as I made a greater number of pets with each batch of DNA (better higher level DNA lasted through more resamples). I think the single letter for resists would save space (I've run out of space before on the name line).

I use CL12 - <skin type> - 60% Ken 60% Eng SA1 <special> SA2 <special> . I find the more spaces make it easier to read when you have alot of items on the vendor.

That is a good idea, but essentially unworkable in that it is too long to be seen even if you move most of the columns off or to a minimal size, which is a pain since they do not "sticky" the configuration of bazaar/vendor windows.
I use a simpler convention - I have several "names" for types of pets, and I post them in this manner:
Toxic Gurreck CL 30
if someone is looking for a CL 30 pet or one in that range, from this description on my vendor they will know body type, level and the type of specials the creature has.
I use these as general categories:
Boxer - Dizzy/Knockdown specials
Toxic - Poison specials
Rabid - Disease specials
Ripper - High damage output
Crippler - Cripple/stun specials
Hardy - High resist profile, with armor where possible
Armored - not hard to guess.
I also may include a hint as to color - the lightest blue-white makes for an interesting "undead" look to some creatures, particularly razor cats, so I may include Ghost or Zombie in the name, such as a Toxic Ghost Razor Cat CL28 or something like that.
A few general descriptive terms make for a more interesting selection as well - Black-Hooded Kima or Crimson Toxic Kimogila for example.
Special Order creatures always include the Purchaser's name if possible - Cekroa's Psycho-Turkey for a 9K health CL 20 carrion spat mount for example.
These tend to add a little "life" to the list, while remaining for the most part short enough to be viewed and reasonable to understand.
BTW, for those into "deccorating" for cantinas, guild halls and homes, a very unique creation can be found in one of the cantinas in Storm Haven on Chilastra (nw of Theed, near the 'beach') - My partner and I were working on a "western" themed cantina for a friend last night, and came up with quite a winner.

Here is what i use mainly
CL## <petname> <avg ham> <if armor then AR1> KEBHCLAS ###-###@#.##:0.## <special 1>/<special 2>/<if ranged RA>
Example
CL35 Razor Cat 10000HAM AR1 KE45BHCAS10 [email protected]:0.45 PD/DS
CL47 Shear Mite 11190HAM AR1 [email protected]:0.55 KD/PD
i find it best to abbreviate the specials and count ranged and special 3 so Knock down/dizzy /ranged woudl be KD/DS/RA
I find it best to abbreviate electrictiy as L
everything else can be a single letter, AR can stand for Armor and 1 is in case if in the furture it ever becomes possible to add medium armor, i doubt it but the cahnce is there.

Very interesting. I can see a lot of thought has gone into this. And to making it fit on the line.
I may change to putting the skin name last so other numbers stack nicely.

I actually just name mine:
Gurreck (40) by Izzaac
If something is really intersting about the pet, I put it in the description. I figure a shopper will look at the details. I like to put the by line in there because we don't get a cool "Created By" section in the details.

I tried a few ways of naming my pets, I found that the best sales came from ones in the format
e.g. "lvl 21 Gurrcat".
If there was something special about it I would some times add if after the name
e.g. "lvl 21 Gurrcat /w Ranged"
I'm only BE 3.2.4.1 so I sell pets cheap on the bazaar in Cnet for 6k each. at the moment I make around 40k a day and I top up the pets each day, nothing special, just been using the DNA I got from grinding DNA sampling.

I find that people only care about the kinetic resists.. well, at least on Kauri.

I name them like this:
lv14 Gurrcat
and that is all. If the pet got something worth taking notice of i add it in behind the name like this:
lv14 Gurrcat (31 kin) or lv14 Gurrcat (Ranged, 31 kin)

My new naming convention is to identify the level of the pet, give it as creative of a name as I can and then probably sign it. So it would look something like this:
Level 20 Poison Spitting, Rabid Gualama of Doom by Kalaka. Something to that effect anyways 
Then the customer can browse the details to see the rest of the stats if they so wish.

hmm, well there is the Marketing approach and the Science approach.
When I was Artisan I used the Marketing approach, but I am trying to be more scientific in my new profession. Realizing I may be providing more detail than the customer needs.
After all, they can view the complete description...
/contemplates trademarking Frenzied Meat Shield®....

Hehe, exactly, why call attention to attributes of the pet that are unremarkable.
e.g.: gurrcat - CL 25, 50% kinetic, ranged, dizzy
Translation: this pet has no armor and crappy or no energy resists and only 1 special
It's all in how you spin it
