Thread: Milk is finally being addressed.

What really confuses people is that there actually is some increase in control of creatures. It has nothing to do with CL however, but everything to do with the +Taming Vicious creatures mod. Some creatures (Graul Mauler, Mtn Squill et al) should be tamable at 2/2 due to cl, but actually are not tamable until 3/2 unless you are a wookie or have some +taming tissues. This is because of thier viciousness rating though, not their CL.
Correct. And with the new patches distributing the CL over the broad tree our tissues will be even more sought after.
*sigh*
I do have a question though. Someone mentioned that the removal of the battlefields will affect the qty of milk on the servers. How is this? is there some sort of debris field or mag-lock chest inside of battlefields? I've never been in one.
However after the next path this becomes a moot point. Today a MCH has a +50 Taming skill and a +50 Taming vicious skill. In the next patch a MCH has a +95 Taming skill and 3 as yet undefined +tameAggro bonuses. This would seem to inidicate that the taming clothes are about to become musch less useful than they were, at least for a master. It seems quite likely then that they are about to release milk in greater quantities. With our luck we'll just have to milk it off "matron" versionsof creatures, with the new milk command which won't be in the automatic macros section.

OK..got sidetracked by the confusion over how these tissues worked and forgot I STILL DONT HAVE THE MILK TO MAKE THEM!!!
Tansun...I can't find this thread from Thunderheart where he said Milk was fixed in the next patch. Please post the link. Guess I'm skeptical too.

OMG Matt you owe me a keyboard.
I found a couple of posts from Aug and Novregarding milk drops from Mokks, Jantas, and Dantari on Dantooine. I've taken quite a few of these out in my travels on Dantooine and have never looted milk, but apparently some people have.

Have you ever tried to take one of those buggers down? I ran into a pair that had medium armour and 14k HAM with some solid across the board resists. I almost had one down, but alas I am just a poor BE.
Lol, I was eyeing some Kunga last night. 100% Kinetic Resist on that Mofo! Now, why cant we be able to sample those?!?!?! ![]()

Are you sure, I was under the impression that the Taming bump would give that bonus needed to tame creatures, then use them as babies until they grow, which is a key way to level a CH.

In the new CH scheme coming out soon, CH starts with a CL12 cap, gets +2 for every level 1 and 2 box, +3 for every level 3 box, +5 for ever level4 box and +10 for the master box. They also get +5 taming bonus for every box except master which is a +10 bonus. They also get some sort of tame aggro ability in the taming line. The transfer command has been moved to master and mount to management 4.
As I understand it this means that most non master, CH's will want a master to tame there creature because otherwise they won't be able to get their pet trained in the commands they want. In addition the CL rating/skill is now a hard limit on the level of creature the CH can control. I'm not saying the tissue is useless. It isn't useless, but I do think thatin the new scheme this tissue will not be as usefull as it was in the old scheme.
For folks information the Talus debris respawns the materials every 30 minutes on average. That means you'd need to waste at least 3 hours to get a chance of milk appearing assuming that the location is camped out with loads of other people trying to get the stuff as well (and usually there's always someone there)
