That's essentially correct. Since it's a baby right now most CH's would be able to tame it and call it until it grew up, then it would just be a datapad decoration. 
Things are a little confused right now among CH's, since there seems to be contradictory anecdotal results about calling CL 70 aggressive pets. Some folks think only wookies can do it without BE enhanced clothing (due to their race bonus), other folks report that just applies to taming and, once tamed, any master can call up to CL 70.
Once I hit master BE, I plan to make myself a set of pets ranging from CL 60 to CL 70 and see if I can settle the argument (I'm a Zabrak MCH so no bonus).
