I started at launch and had an extra copy of the game lying around for a few months, amazon sent the game late so I bought locally. I started out in sept with my newaltbut didn't get through the grind until the BE revamp when it became too cool not to do. A couple months after than I went chef on my main to enhance my BE's income, since it was pretty much not there before the chef revamp.

I'm still here . BE was my first non-starting class in the 3rd week of the game, Mastered last September, finally dropped my livlihood (/cry) about 7 weeks ago. It's wierd doing something different after being solely a BE for so long, but Droid Engineer is a pretty good time. I don't post here as much since I dropped but I stop in to read the hot threads every few days!

I still read through the forumns a bit. I keep hoping they will add something exciting in BE again. So far I am having fun grinding SL and rifleman. Taking my time at it since there is no hurry.

Yep,

I'm still in BE too. Have been since second week of release. It's the best damn profession out there. Perhaps because I prefer to solo with my creations.

Don't know if I count as an old-timer, but I started playing in July 03 and dabbled in a lot of professions beforefinding BE, which I mastered and loved. But I eventually tired of scouring the planets for DNA, and dealing with the stress of too many customers, and I quit. I'm back after a few months' layoff, but am playing a BH on another server.

I'm thinking of coming back and doing some more BE experimentation though. How has the market changed over the last few months? It was very hot when I left. What are people charging for pets these days? Are people concerned that the Droid Handler class will kill of interest in CH/BE?

I was a Master BE in October.. dropped it in late december to pursue the hologrind. Now I am a Master BE again... have been for about a month. Loved being a BE back then. Love being a BE more now. I can sell things other than tailor tissues and pets.

Oh Tamer is still around on Kettemoor, think I was the first Master BE there, and he’s still master BE, but I have moved to Test Center, so I don’t play much there anymore.

Think I did master BE in 1-2 weak, witch was real fast back then, you must remember back then people didn’t have that much resources yet, but I had some real cool people to help me getting money and resources, yeah god dang I paid for every training my self, there was no other around to teach one anything, on yeah that was days, but the reward was great, when I got master BE the money really start coming in, all wanted Rancor and Gurrecks, back then a none Ch could run with a Gurreck or rancor, so imagine what traffic it was in my mail LOL, oh yeah kind of miss those days.

Oh well enough from me here

I started about 4 weeks or so after release, but really just kept it as a side profession. Really got into it when CH's became king briefly, then it winded off, slowly taking precendence over other professions.

I never did the grind until my last two boxes. So I've basically been slowly mastering BE since I started on it shortly after release.

I've enjoyed it immensely, even with the constant bull**edit** flying about.

I masterd BE about 3 weeks into game launch.

People use to sit in my house and waite for me to craft stims or animals,They even knew my play times and would be waiting for me when I loged in.

Ah the good old days.

Ive masted Doc,and Bio-eng...its the only 2 jobs Ive ever wanted so its the only 2 ive done.

Hmm doubt I qualify as a "old timer" but started playing in Oct and Mastered BE and CH about a month later. Made pets and stims for myself never really sold anything till after the revamp.
