Actually, as much as I love MBE and the complexity, I'm thinking about dropping it. It's just too frustrating watching other professions :::cough::: jedi :::cough::: get so much attention, and trinkety items like new speeders, while we don't even get a "it's a known issue, and we're working on it."

I'm a master scout who always uses mask scent. I can tell you that almost any level of agressive creature can be bypassed without notice. I've yet to test this on a kryat dragon, but it seems to work on everything else. The trick is to take baby steps. I've done this on a bike, in case I have to make a retriet, but just inching into a pack of agressives would make it so you aren't targeted. Can't tell if it's a trick to the system or it's actually skill based, but I almost always draw agressives if I zoom past them.
Also, set up a macro to remove/reapply your mask scent.

OK, not for noth'n but....
My high level toons don't even bother with Mask Scent. Running around on Dath, nothing seems to want to mess with them. There is some kind of level check where the lvl68ish mobs look at you and say, 'hrm.. lvl80? you can pass...' Everytime I use mask scent, sooner or later something breaks it and then aggros me. If I don't bother with it, I can wander around all day and not get aggro'd.
Mask scent might be good for lower level toons, but for the high level ones, don't bother.
