Just my observations on this:

- From what I've seen, few of these actually seem to yield the results that the posters wish for, if you base it on how BEs respond to them. Yes, once in a while there's a response of "contact me in-game, my name is...", but for the most part I just see the poster constantly bumping it. If they don't geta response they want, they take an attitude toward the BEs that end up with the BEs banding together in flaming the original poster. Now, whether the BEs and/or the poster is right or wrong, a non-BE "picking a fight" on these boards WILL GET FLAMED. It happens on almost all the boards, just look at the BH and Jedi forums, BE and Chef, or BE and CH. Even if you feel you are truly in the right, it'll be always difficult for people to sympathize with you if you take an attitude on their "turf." In fact, I'm pretty sure that some BEs on the poster's server will ban him/her from their shop, instead.

- "Looking for..." posters claim they go to the profession boards because they get no responses on their server's trade boards, or they hear that BEs read their profession boards more than they do the trade boards. First of all, BEs are very busy people. They craft products that make a huge difference for three professions (Tailor, CH & Chef). Did it ever occur to anyone that part of the reason BEs don't necessarily check the server trade boards as regularly as the "BE seekers" would want to is that we simply don't have the time to add another order to our plate? As to posting on the BE boards because we read here more than we do the trade boards, well, most BEs come here to read about issues to our profession, plain and simple. Sure there are a bunch of us that don't mind the "looking for..." posts, but from what I've seen and the response most of these posts get, they tend to be largely ignored. I have to admit, I look at the post counts on such messages, and if they have a numerous amount of messages, I check them out, thinking "Oh look, someone can't find a BE to hire and he's now flaming the BEs. Time for an entertaining read on the BE forums." 99.9% of the time, I'm correct in that the post has turned into a flamewar. The way I see it, if BEs want to find work for hire, they'll go to the trade forums, but like I stated earlier, the frequency may not be as high as customers want, so some patience may well be in order.
