well i really doubt there will be much competition for space or anything, the server population will be a whole 100-200 or so =)

Given.

All the crafters will probably start the (singular) PC near Coronet that everyone will end up joining so the Poli invitees can do their Poli stuff heh

Given.

We should probably make sure that we represent the diversity of second professions, though....like BE/tailor, BE/chef, BE/CH, BE/Ranger, etc. so we can get an idea of how they all mesh and how viable they (or their products) are with new combat system.

Well the cool thing is that we will be given the blue frogs - so you can change your template whenever you wish, so I think that rather than just one person focussing on just one aspect - we should all set aside a few days for each so we can find what we like and then just get on with that with the remainder of our time.

I haven't formally agreed a template with myself yet but I was thinking something like:

Master BE
TKA 4040
Ranger 0030
------
Master Scout
Medic 0004
Brawler 4000

^^ that would probably be my pet sampling template. It allows me tofind particular animals effectively, sample them and defend myself if neccesary while giving me the ability to cure my own poison/bleeds/disease and wounds.

For the first day or so it is likely that I will spend some time with Master ID in my template (so i can make myself pretty), Doctor (advanced sub components for pet stims - IF the requirementsremain the same) and once some I have finished making some BE tissues I will pick up master tailor to make myself the ideal clothes. Of course - this sounds like I'm cutting out all the other players who fit the above criteria but as you will soon find out - i am an impatient bast and i tend to live by the old saying "if you want something done right then do it yourself"

Once I have established myself I will adopt my above template and begin to supply Creature Handlers with pets, chefs with additives and so forth.

Z, with froggies there is no need to get too attached to a particular template. Just pick up whatever skills makes it convenient for you to test whatever you want to test at that particular time. For example, if you are trying to test the affectiveness of a certain pet against a guy with certain armor etc., just make yourself a master ranger so you can go out and getthe dnaquickly without all the fuss. Gives you more time to test.

Yeah I can't wait for the full testing ability

I do a LOT of combat in addition to BE, I am super interested in seeing how things change

I see what you mean. But really master ranger is not needed - I've tried sampling creatures with master scout, be clothing and jawa beer and its fine so master ranger would offer nothing extra other wasted time around the frogs imo.

i think my stated template covers all aspects really that i would want to it cover and they're shouldn't be too much changing of it after the initial few days.

I think a lot of our work will be close with CH too... We will need to make some decent creatures for them

I agree.....

Ihave planned todedicate aportion of my time tothis particular facet of the CU.Nothing would please me more than to see CH's and Wild / BE Creaturepetsplay a significant roll in combat again.

As a last thought on this post, I feel honored to work with such a great group players. I look forward to working on this project with everyone. May we do our duty justice. Kudos to NancyJ and thank you.

its why i did BE the second time around. its fun making pets and its fun bargainning with no-good CHs would try to tell your a rip off and then another CH turning up asking you to make him a CL70 durni with 5 specials, 100% resists to everything and a bazooka attached to it (soemthing i plan to try to in the sandbox as I mix super battle droid dna with ns elder )

I am going to mix and match Combat professions with BE as much as possible. I might even try something that gives me a vendor so that I can remember what it was like to have one....lol.

Perhaps we should sticky this post - the other profession correspondants have stickied theirs.

Oh i know what i want! the ability to sample higher CL creatures! I say Ch's don't need much of a revamp if i can just sample the Ancient bull rancors and Giant dune kimos

hey any chance we can get this stickied Arthur? Of the ones I've seen, most profession forums have for their own.
