I beleive the sample is a post patch sample. I say this because the resist stats listed on it were not listed in prepatch stats.

Check out Talthazar's lab for a pre/post patch Dna comparison.

This may mean we have be underestimating what we can sample from...

If you look at my screenshots that I posted above of PRE-PATCH KIMOGILA DNA, you will see that it also showed stats post-patch.

Harvested from a live kimogila on Lok long ago by a former MBE that donated them to me. Pre-correction, pre-new system, pre-everything. So the fact that his albatross DNA shows stats doesn't surprise me, it would have updated just like all my pre-patch samples did.

You can sample a Reclusive Gurk King very easily but they are weaker than a Mutant Rancor anyway.

The screen shot is legit. If it is post patch, it could be from an injured Peko.Rancors near death can be sampled much easier. This may also be the case with higher CL animals, pure speculation though. As for the exp gained in the screen shot, it is in a naboo house, so most likey from an animal in the inventory. This could very will be pre-patch. Did the stats on the A Peko change pre/post patch that would show up on the sample to know?

In which patch was this made not possible?

I don't know exactly how long ago it was really.. It wasn't that recently, perhaps "the other day" was the wrong term for me to use.. lol

It's in my house, on display for all to see though, it's not a fake, I dunno what to tell ya other than that.

It was not from that sample.. that xpwas taken from me resampling some other non chcritters of my own creation from my inventory. I do not have any recollection how much xp it was for the Albatross.. i was too busy running for my life.

Yes at one time it was possible to sample dna off of the Albatross. Not to long after release I was trying to grind sampling and I ran across one. What the heck I sampled it and got a average sample off it. What got me hooked to the spawn site was the 2080xp I got of each success. Now it did stomp me in the ground a couple times but I got 5-6 samples in the end.

Couldn't tell you what the stats of the samples are due to the fact that I was new and just used them to grind some crafting xp....

The sample is legit, it is also not technically possible. So it is prepatch or you stubbled onto some kind of bug. Everyone is just wondering how this happened.

It's not pre-patch, it lists specials. Pre-patch DNA didn't list specials.

I have 11 Peko Albatross samples saved from pre-revision. he is accurate on the stats. most are 1000, medium armor, Area Combo/Force Strike, and 100% kinetic resists. I dont know what to do with the samples. I'm on Kauri. I'd consider selling a couple =P

Hey Linoric..

Idon't really have any plans to use it. I might on a whim someday though, never can tell, if I do I'll definitely post it..

Was the patch everyone is referring to the one fromDecember? Thats' about the time I started playing my BE again, at the beginning of Dec.
