Thread: I think I cracked the initial template numbers.
45.6 + 28.75 + 5.7 + 5.55 + 28.75 = 114.35
Using the formula how did you get 31 as a figure?
max= 114.35 * ( .114 + .15) Using this equation shouldnt your max number be 1728? Or am I missing another formula?

Actually I'm guessing you missed hitting a key on the calculator. Make sure you don't miss the decimal point.Looks like you used 15 and not 0.15 .
114 * (0.114 + 0.15) = 114 * (0.264) = 30.096
Next experiment: BMB - BMB - D. Merek Avenger - D. Merek Avenger - BMB, again, all VHQ samples.
Phy: 515
Pro: 512
Men: 566
Psy: 560
Agg: 510
Max = 517
predicted: 344
actual: 345
I'd say this formula works pretty **edit** well.
Genius!!!
I am at work and was using an online calculator...Well after very closely watching what went in I noticed when entering .114 + .15, on the keypad it didnt register the . before 15. As it turns out you have to hit it twice. Thank you AOL for your faulty online calculator.

Now that my decimal is fixed you can actually make your predicted match your actual. I see on you max you drop the .3 how ever ifyou keep it you willhit it on the mark.
517.3 * (.517 +.15) = 517.3 * (.667) = 345

FWIW I'm working on a program that will do all this nifty maths for us - based on the formulas we have to date. I might even make it able to predict certain stats of the final combine - but ofcourse they will only be predictions as a rough guide
Being so close to valentine's day and all, I will hold my proclamations of love... but WOOOHOOO!
*I really need to learn some programming*
the formulas in the FAQ give the maximum values an attribute can be experimented to right?
So the maximum Hardiness is determined by physique 40%, prowess 25%, mental 5%, psychology 5% and aggression 25% right?
And this formula tells me how to convert the maximum number down to the initial value I would get before experimentation?
