i've also successfullysampled level 76 creatures in the wild (urnsori'is soldier comes to mind). maybe the level 75 cap has been removed. or maybe the rule doesn't apply to the radiant galaxy. or maybe it just doesn't apply to me

I have TRIED to sample level 76's in the wild and always got incapped and cloned eventually. But maybe ... it *is* possible??? Who knows ...

Well my question in this regard would be, wouldn't we get a message saying that "You can not sample from this creature" if there was a hard cap? Has anyone tried to sample an extremely high CL mob? say a 90 or 500 CL mob?
I got a message that said 'You have been slain by the gorax', last time i tried.

I always try to sample everything I see, no matter the level, in the hopes that I will get "lucky." I always get the same message as Dor, You have been slain by xxxx. Requesting clone activation."
I was out on TC with my CL57 BE trying to sample non-Kashyyyk critters, as Dor requested. I got samples off CL75 less than 5% of my overall attempts - spent 3 hours sampling - died 3 times - and walked away with 5 CL75 samples.
I do know that our percentage seems to change on a daily basis. Some days I am more successful than I was yesterday and some days I am even less successful then I was yesterday.
Perhaps I didn't sacrific enough entrails at the jedi altar. Who knows what is truly possible with our whacked out system.
I do know that I've been trying to sample my "oopsies" that are awesome but over CL75. After a zillion attempts they often go poof.

Well Im sure that if you take 1 zillionth of him as a sample after a zillion tries there just wouldn't be anything left to sample 
Lots to sample on the Ryyatt Trail. Start on the first level with the Wallugget Skullsmasher Veteran and the named Wallugget (sorry, can't remember). Trail two will get you Mouf Roarlord and the named Roarlord (again, memory fails) also the Mouf Roarlord Guardian. As you get deeper you will find more "elites."
In the Klowir (sp) Forest you can find the Sawtooth and Steel Claw and also Great Moufs and Moufs (the last two good for non-CH pets). In the spider cave you can get Mother Ves'd (she doesn't give much and is a slow respawn).
There also Jagged Fang (varactyl) and Uller Stoneclaw in general areas.
In the hunting grounds (you have to do ground and space missions to earn the right to enter) you can find more "elites" like Uller warhoof and more spiders.
Sorry I can't remember all the names.
I was reading that kashyyyk is good for the excellent dna. I spent some time there for the grinding but now I'd loe to get some good dna for my business. Where to sample on the wookie planet? Any input?

Been playing as a BE and also a CH/Ranger on TC. Sampling seemed ok. Group command is not working on TC atm. SL had some issues but seemed to be working fairly well.
Most issues were with missions, cities, and AIs.
