Because theres a big difference between running into Newbie Jedi with a few skills picked up and running into one who's still, say, a Master TKA

They say that Jedi represent the best the Galaxy has to offer, they are smart, noble, wise, honourable and selfless, an example to us all. Jedi, they say, are like Eagles.
They also say that Bounty Hunters are dishonourable, cowardly killers with no respect for life or honour, who strike from ambush and exist only to kill. We are, they say, like Weasels.
Bounty Hunters are Weasels, Jedi are Eagles ? I can live with that, Eagles may soar but Weasels don't get sucked into Skyhopper jet intakes.

What do you BH's think of this?

Right now visibility is completely screwed up. Jedi in hiding get gang-banged, showboaters don't get a single BH on them, everything is messed up.

So how about this: The bounties are posted by players. If the player has been within 256 meters of a Jedi EXCESSIVELY using powers in the past 5 hours, he can post the mission on the terminals and get some money for posting him depending on the level of the Jedi, and depending on the level the BH will go out and get 'im.

Yes, I do realize there could be serious stalkers, but then we could report a harassment and/or just not use our powers. Or they could find some way around this.

This way all the Jedi who like to showboat will be punished and the good ones will enjoy all the xp they have well-earned while not showing off.

If this is the case, this is very good news indeed, thanks a lot man!

Edited to add that I'd like to test out 2 hunters taking a mission, one of them completing it, and seeing if A) the Jedi is still on the terminals, and B) if the second hunter still has the mission. And no, I won't be volunteering my poor novice lightsaber padawan for it

Seems that this was revoked this morning with the roll-back or whatever. I was killed the the same BH after getting ressed.
