Can't make a Kliknik mount - they're bugged.

I would like to see some type of flying mount as well. The Giant peko-peko comes to mind as one that would hold a saddle quite well. The coolest flying mount would have to be the reptilian flyers, however, especially if we get to make them as pets (HAVE to be non-CH level) and can color them black.Picture awookie in their "shredder with a hairball" armor mounted on a black reptilian flyer (can you say Nazgul ?)

Cat and dog types in most cases do not have the spine strength to support a mounted player, so they might not work too well, and most are not of a size to be mounts as well, other than something like a GSP. I would like to see "carts" like the one used in the genosian arena in the movie, which would be suspensor supported, and drawn by a creature, and perhaps that would make the cats a possibility. Having a CH able to drive a floating chariot pulled by two or three snarling gurrecks or razor cats might add a little interest back in the CH profession as well.

Kimos need to be multi-player mounts, so you can bring an entire group aboard one and ride into battle on it. Other players on the mount besides the CH "driver" should be able to fire weapons from the mount, making it a real battle-tank creature.

The one thing we need most is a faster mount, however. With the vehicle decay, mounts are much better in long travel and backcountry expeditions, and a mount can tank for you when you dismount, which no vehicle can do. The flying mounts might approach the speed of the landspeeder, for example, making them a reasonable choice as a travel option, as well as more fun. The bikes could remain the fastest, but give the creature mount more "range" of use in the game.

They could not let flying mounts gallop, it would cause too much of a flap.

I love the idea of an 8 narglatch team, though I doubt we'll see it.

Mounts do follow when given the command once again, for a while any mount-trained creature would not follow unless you used /tellpet or befriended it to someone and had them use the "follow other" command on you, but it has been fixed, so that mount-trained pets will follow correctly again.

Wahoo! time to trian my lvl 55 Hambawumba!!!

P.s. The bird gallop thing was just an example of issues I thought might come up if we were to suggest such things, if we pre address the issues, it may be easier to get done. Like arial dismounts...of death?

I moved to Corellia I have no vendor and I don't know the coords to my house, but it doesn't really matter cause all my pets are in the tool box, I may have some in space, but that doesn't really concern you either.

I wanna ride these huge pets so that noone will be able to see me to target me!! I will be ruler of all the world!

......and maybe a Kimogila ride too. You'd think those are big enough to ride and still have them fight.

How about this, Saddles should be made by a crafting profession, and could add things to them like mask scent and stuff... Also why are Cu Pa's Cu Pa's and not Taun Taun's?

And wouldn't it be cool to throw a saddle on your Webmaster?

Does anyone have a jetpack yet?

Maybe you all are not quite reading the announcement correctly.

Exclusive In-Game Item Offer: Pre-order and purchase the Expansion Pack to be among the first to receive your very own, Varactyl! The Varactyl is the creature ridden by Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Episode III: Revenge of the Sith movie - one of the fastest new mounts in the Galaxy!

I am hoping that it means that if you Pre-Order, you will get a varactyl in your datapad. Now, it does not say that only those who pre-order will get one, hence they should be tamable in the wild. I am really hoping that there are different types, as with kaadus and cu pas. So maybe there will be a larger version that only a CH can use (HOPE! HOPE!). We will just have to see what the Devs do. Hopefully they will not do us wrong. Those of us who paid $30 for JTL are already getting shafted, especially those of us who have multiple accounts.

Lets all think positive, maybe the GOOD VIBES will influence the Devs in OUR direction.

I agree, that is very vague. It seems that does not preclude others from having them without preordering...

Varactyls are not native to the new planet. they wont be tamable in the wild...unless they have something like "an excaped domestic varactyl"
