Thread: New droids and Implications for bio-e.
Ok, as a Master DE with a Master BE alt, I want to weigh in on this. I have played with generational cloning, and it is still much easier than making a factory run of advanced probots. At a quick count a Probot takes 16 separate subcomponents and sub-subcomponents and Sub-sub-subcomponents. We have to play the resource game to get good stuff for the experiments that matter, and we have to use a lot of factory time to set up a run of Probots. After all that, the Devs finally made the effort worth it by giving us appropriate HAM and dmg. I am sorry BE can't mass produce pets, but you guys get the advantage of make some nicely tricked out critters, without too much drudgework. Your pets look much better than my probot, not to mention the amount and variety of atttacks you can put in (oh yeah, you guys still havearmor, savor it, they took ours away). I spend hours in the shop as a DE, and I long to switch to my BE and get outside and go hunting.
Now that being said, I will impart the information I came here to give. I tested one of the new Scout Harvest Droids with my BE alt. A well made Scouty (the modules stack so the more the better) not only harvests more than you could, but when you eat Veghash its abilites increase too (bug). AND here is the big BE kicker. YOU CAN USE THE DROID TO HARVEST A SAMPLEKILL. This is most assuredly a bug, and I have reported it as such, but then again it may not be. I recommend talking to your local DE (we aren't the enemy).
