Talk to a master smuggler. many make their own clamp crates and sell em too. Visit an weapon/armorsmith, they usually sell AUK's and WUK's.
Or search the bazaar. normally those are not full 25 crates, but the other day I found several 25 WUK crates (was glad too 'cause I was totally out)
I heard something about easy trapping XP when using crates of traps?
How do i make a crate.. or find these crates?
How does it work...
Trapping is by far the most annoying tree i have encountered in this game.. It's not fun at all, and i just suck at it... Maybe thats why![]()
the guide in here does not cover good things to take out for traps and where... tried hurtons on dantooine.. killed me on the spot.. even when pulling just one!
You get crates of trapsfrom a factory. You would have to make a schematic and run it through a factory with a bunch of resources. You don't get any more experience from using traps from a crate then you do if you craft them individually by hand.
As for getting trapping xp, just get missions and throw every single kind of trap you have at every single creature that spawns. You'll get it eventually. The higher the level creature you take on, the more trapping xp per trap you get, but I think your chances of hitting it decrease.
Recently I was given a crate of 25 P darts. I would not buy a crate of the same, nor do I want a factory and the attendant hassle of owning one.
However, the crate does save space. 125 P darts in the space of 5 in my pack. Handy to be sure. So handy in fact I don't really use em unless jammed for time. I still make traps to use normally. The ones in the crate are my emergency back ups.
I wonder if she who made the crate gets XP when I use them? Dunno, don't care really, as I am maxxed, just wondering.

JB,
As far as I know, traps don't grant usage XP - even if they're crafted in an artisan factory.
