I have cable at my uni house, but nothing at home...I live in the smallest village on earth. 10 houses and a pub in the middle of no-where on top of a windy hill. The likelyhood of getting ADSL, bearing in mind I am around 26km from my exchange, is about nil.

suprised they even have telephone lines, thought u guys used carrier pigeon.
The general gist that I got was we were all going to show up as noobs with noob pets and go off fighting to our doom with them.
As a bonus we'll get to chat with each other and make fun of durni's.

Probably all of the above, lol, it's definitely a loosely structured event, with the main emphasis just on meeting people and socializing, but the plan was to head out on a "noob hunt", probably there on Tatooine, with an army of non-ch pets, cdefs, and if necessary harsh language. I'll be there just as a healer, and I've arranged for a doctor friend of mine to accompany us ina healing capacity (no buffs) so at least we may live a while, lol
y'all play nice, now. I expect to hear tales of how you all took down bases, pwnded jebi and BH alike, and made a general mess of ArthurDent's home server.

I picture us hanging out, drinking Jawa beer, and shooting everything that moves....sort of like a RL hunting trip.
And as to the fact that we can't kill a shaupaut with our cdefs, well, let's just say that there will be an informal tour of the local cloning station, too. This is of great interest to us, since we tend to spend a lot of time there on or regular servers.
After a year of grinding, I can't even use my main weapon well enough: a CDEF carbine...
