Hmm yeah I was just reading that on other threads, thats really cheesy. The artisans have a safeguard that stops them every so often to stop them from surveying overnight... why not do that here?

TKA got HAM cost reductions, and buffs (power boost). Reading through the patch notes, we got nothing.

It seems like DE gives next to no xp and it takes so much xp just to level. This sucks

Standard crafting xp... 2 per unit of resource used. But yes, it does take a lot of work to get to the next level.

for what its worth we're actually not too bad as far as number of items you have to create. We do require the second largest amount of resources (behind architect) but most of the other crafting professions end up taking time to master since all their items require less resources, which means less xp.

Well, it takes longer to grind unarmed 3--->TKA Novice than anything else I've done so far, but it's worth it. If I were you, I'd stay away from the pickets now that you have the spin. Go for Quenkers and hurtons. Get buffs, and spin for teh win.
Also, there's some monkey/cavemen looking things on Yavin 4 that seem to give good exp per time to kill, but I don't remember the names of them. They spawn a whole bunch from the lair, and don't take long at all to kill. (Was looking around for stuff to kill after my protect the Research facility part of the deadeye quest, and was mad because I failed... Not because the ST's killed me, but because all the NPC rebels died. Guess I'll try running around and dizzy/KD them allthe next time.)

I've been doing huurtons, and with full buffs, brandy + vagnarian canape (or whatever that foods called), and my trusty comp armor I've been taking absolutely NO damage from these guys while getting 3k xp from the huntresses. I wrote a macro to spin attack and stand so I can just take on a pack and watch tv. The macros are really convenient for grinding, especially as boring as the huurtons have been.
if you are interested at all in my crapular spinattack macro here it is
/spinattack1;
/stand;
/pause 1.5;
/macro spinattack
at least, I think it's like that.
Once I get dizzy ima throw that into a macro with unarmed hit 2 to really mix it up.
uh, hope that may have helped.

"Once I get dizzy ima throw that into a macro with unarmed hit 2 to really mix it up."
Why? Dizzy won't affect huurtons or any other animal, so you'd just be wasting a move on a low damage attack.

Do you have a low speed VK? That helps a lot before you hit TK novice.
