I used to think that Tal-N knew what he was talking about regarding the profession because he was there since Day One. But I just can't respect a person who insults this game's systems as much as he has, who disrespects the Devs as much as he has. I have zero respect for individuals like this.
I was reading through his "how to make a non-ch pet" guide the other day and I find it interesting that to create the type of pets in that guide, you'd have to use the same "exploit" with the vulnerabilities to get 2000 Health on the thing that the people whom he debases uses. It's the very same method that people use to get low CL on creatures whose first generation DNA were sampled from much higher level creatures: breeding in vulnerabilities. Just because he started out with mid-level pets and applied vulnerabilties which made the combine CL10 or less, doesn't mean his pets are valid. Since he uses the same vulnerability method, it could be that his pets are just as invalid except with half as much HAM. His same logic that he uses to rubber stamp other's pets as invalid can also be applied to his own pets from his "guide". For all we know, 800/800/800 is the maximum HAM that the devs have in mind for valid pets.
It's perfectly reasonable that he could be correct that 2000 in any HAM pool is the max, but it's also perfectly reasonable that 2000 is way over the limit of validity. It can go either way, and he really has nothing to be smug about.

#1. We have recieved nothing on these forums nor any official comments that the current pets were STILL invalid so don't use the lack of an offical statement to mean you're not breaking the system.

Yeah so go ahead and one star me if you can't bear me in smug git mode, fact is that we've been beating you people who deny that these pets are unfair since the last patch and for the second time the devs are trying to stop them from happening. Once again, just because you can make them doesn't mean you should. This would be a good time to offer your customers a replacement if you told them a soon-to-be invalid pet. Typical limitations for a non-ch pet is 3000/2000/1000, try to keep to around those figures and you won't go far wrong.

BTW if droids are overpowered in publish 7 then go get your own, and when everyone hasamazing droids theyll be nerfed and we'll use rancors all over again.
