You aren't going to find +25 in one garment. Mask scent goes into reinforced cloth and no schematic uses more than one instance of reinforced.

That said - it shouldn't be difficult to get the 25 max between two items.

On my vendors - I call this scout - and it's actually two bonuses in one - mask scent and cammoflauge.

Hi! I'm on the Radiant server, and I'm just getting in to BE. I'd like to get my hands on some Mask Scent enhanced clothing to help with my DNA sampling, as I don'thave high enough Tissue skill to make my own yet. Can you post a WP to your vendor or contact me in game?

Thanks!

Nevermind, I found it on your website.

Great site, by the way!

Err Rand whoever told you you needed mollusk for maskscent is lying to you. The top end maskscent tissuei s known as Scent Neutralizer and it just requires meat, avian bone, flowers, and wood.

I'm surprised that someone got +25 tame and a +17 bleed. That means the schematic needed 3 reinforced fiberpanel different slots. And almost every schematic I know of that is for a flightsuit in game requires synthetic cloth, not rfp. This sounds like a ruse to me.

If ANYONE got more than one reinforced type bonus on a single garment - it's a bug.

If you crit on a combine - and use another different type of cloth - occassionally both will stick.

There are NO schematics available to tailors at this time that have more than one reinforced slot.

That's not to say they may not have found a really nice tape and added to a socket - but they didn't do it thru tailoring by normal means.

Yeah, it's the major mimic circuitry that takes mollusk - visual cammo doesn't, but that's the minor tissue for cover. I can make the minor one - usually comes out about +7 - but I don't get asked for it often, and haven't really stocked any - waiting on mollusk and of course milk for creature handler bonuses.

OMG, that means I have a rare ubber suit, lol, too cool

If anyone from Gorath knows how to take screen shots and has a place to post them, i would gladly meet you and let you examine it in the trade window. None of the sockets have been used. LOL, no wonder the seller was miffed when I won it on the boards at just 100k, lol.

Make yourself two Scent Neutralization tissues with at least +13 Maskscent each.

Have a tailor use use them to create two Reinforced Fiber Panels and have them put into:

Lined Workshirt
Crafter's Pants

Note: The crafter's pants can also hold a SynthCloth type tissue. I'd suggest Biosensors.

Well also Cammo pants and a form fitting Under shirt and hmm also a bandolier can get mask scent enhancements.

But for things like a gun mans duster and some of the other field wear, you need top have made factory crates of the Masked Scent stuff.

The bandolier is good but it makes you not be able to wear a backpack to beware.

Right now I am using +11 +11 and +12 items.

Not the best, but I blame my materials for that, and I can always make better later.

I am thinking I may have to drop my pistol skills so I can become a Master Scout, since even with the clothing Rancors break my Masked scent alot.

At least they dont attack immediately when that happens anymore.

Oh yeah...by the way...+25 is the maximum amount of bonus we can get on a stat in any clothing.

SO I am assuming a Gun man's Duster could obtain that total.

Its just too bad boots, hats, and gloves and back packs cant get the enhancements.

Actually, in a flightsuit, that combo is perfectly "legal." Flightsuits have three slots for components:

2 identical factory synthetic cloth
4 identical factory synthetic cloth
2 identical factory reinforced fiber panel

Active tranquilizers (tame wild/vicious creatures) goes in synthetic cloth. Coagulant agents (bleed defense) goes in reinforced fiber panels. So it's possible to use two slots for taming and one for bleed to get +25 tame/+17 bleed.

However, I have problems with this combo for a different reason. Using two identicalbleed defense tissues is no big deal, but taming wild/vicious creatures takes milk. This flightsuit took 6 active tranquilizers, plus an extra tissuefor a factory tissue schematic, plus another for a factory synthetic cloth schematic. Eight active tranquilizers. Two hundred milk. I don't know how it is on your servers, buton mine, milk can easily go for 2-5k per unit, making this a very expensive flightsuit. (Unless, of course, the milk were duped, but that's another discussion.)

Incidentally, the bug where you could add another enhancement in the same slot on a crit fail was fixed in the last patch. (What that could have been done with this flightsuit on crit fail would be to allow another enhancement like injury/wound treatment or wound heal dance/music in the synth cloth slots and/or one like melee/stun defense, camo/mask scent, cover, or intimidate/warcry in the RFP slot. That isn't what happened this time, though.)

Bah - you are correct - must have had a brainfart there. Yup, CH is synth, but like you - I'd like to know where they got that much milk.

Heheh, my statement was correct, just doesn't apply to this case.

No, the cloth panels that go into a Gunman's Duster are 4 factory-crated Synthetic Cloth. So the only things that can go into that are either the low or high-end versions of Biosensors (medic), Myoflex (entertainer)or Tranquillizers (taming). And unless there are two slots between which those 4 cloths are split up, the end resulting duster would only have the bonus of a single tissue.

That's one of the biggest problems with clothing tissues, is that the majority of them can only go into Reinforced Fiberplast Panels, which are used in a very small selection of clothing items, compared to the Synthetic Cloth. Well, and the fact that there are two variants of each one, and who the hell is going to want the low-end version?

Definite brainfart on my part... been too long since I've had a chance to make some . You are correct but still, gotta agree, 200 milk. Ouch.

I'm a TKA on Shadowfire, can you tell me what brawler benifiting tissues there and what they do? Thanks.

The only thing we have specifically for TKA's is a +intimidate/+warcry tissue. With the new regen on mind it might be a worthwhile cloth again.
