Thread: Anyone made the Perfect Trifecta?
I've been trying to get 3 pets in the cl23 range, made 1 good one so far:
cl22, 10k ham, ar1, 48% kinetic, 230 damage, stun/intimidate/ranged.
Working on making 3 similar ones with 6 different specials, I'll report back when I make more progress.
Bocatt CL 14
300-320
19% resist on kinetic heat acid elect
11k H
9k A
10k M
Stunning strike and dizzy strike as specials
ar0 =(
I haven't tried subbing in new dna in the mental slot for 2 reasons. 1: You need a HQ/VHQ sample with a ranged attack in the mental slot for ranged to stick, and 2: I think when the mind pool lowers, the cl lowers, and since the mind pool doesn't get hit much with a straight up pve tank, I consider this a bonus.
Of course, I've been screwed with only getting 1 dna sample from a clone and then having to fill up the rest of the slots with filler. In that case, I usually use bark mite burrower queen/arachne warrior dna in the mental slot, as they have ar1, good kinetic resistance and ranged. I haven't paid attention to the mind pool size after doing this however, so who knows hehe.

They move too slow.

yes they must be a cat or a flier.... cats are fastest critter on the ground and fliers are the fastest period.
Awesome work, Tasek!
I've noticed with my 2nd, 3rd, etc generations of clones, the cleverness drops to 0 everytime. Which results in getting a smaller mind pool. Have you had any luck with sub'ing in a fresh sample in the mental to combat this? I'm curious if you can still keep the same low CL, resist, and armor if you do this. I'll try a bit of it tomorrow, but I have gotten a few screwy results when I did try this. Wondering if others have had the same results.

You can actually take advantage of that. Since creatures seem to target health the most, then action, then mind, a smaller mind pool is actually an advantage - rather than have a high mind, you can have a low mind and more resists or something.
When making a TANK pet for a CH/combat hybrid, you might also consider using total trash DNA in the aggression slot in order to lower the damage (because a CH hybrid doesn't need his pet to kill things, only to hold aggro). Finally, I've occasionally managed to make pets with CL in the twenties and NO specials. These are also cool to use an donors for later damage soakers because having no specials probably lowers the CL as well (same thing with no range).
Since I never plan on being a "pure" CH - always some kind of hybrid, the pets I'm trying to make for my own later use will be all about HAM and kinetic/energy resists. Everything else will be surgically removed...

i found saset that worked really well they are REALLY hard to come by tho.
Barkmite queen dna slot 1
mantigrue reaper in slots23 and 5 and meric harvester dna in slot 4. you get no vulnetabilities, and the harvers dizy attackpassesto the end also has a ranged attack, I didn't get to see the final product tho. crit faled making the creature and have not found another queen since

I'm wondering how you guys managed AR1 on an under-30 CL creature. I have yet to see any actual evidence of these, and the best I've managed was a CL 30 pet with AR1 (which caused all of its resists to alter to 0 upon armor going to light).
Ive made a cl10 Kaadu with AR1 so it is possible. It has terrible action though. 4k health 3k mind and 829 action. If you want to meet me on Radiant, I'll show it to you.
