though I understand your point about the grinding approach, I find the grinding portion to be really boring. There's not much point in making anything except pets until you're a master, since most of the stuff doesn't sell. Pets are cool (and I did build/sell a bunch of em when I was grinding out the DNA tree) but the tissues and whatnot are virtually useless. My alt is a chef, but I don't want to waste really good resources on subquality tissues and foods that noone will ever buy.

Anyway, I think I'm getting the hang of tailor tissues...built a bunch of injury/wound treatment ones, and I'm thinking about pushing out a couple crates of light food additive before my alt drops master artisan. I also blew my first base not too long ago (hehe) and am pretty thoroughly liking the BE profession. Just wish I had more skill points available...it'd be nice if I could get novice ranger with it.

Thanks for the help, regardless. I try to read this forum regularly and have learned alot from it.

Well you could always drop TKM. Without FS skills, you have enough SP to go MBE, TKA 0044 and Ranger 0030 - which is enough to track the distance and direction of animals and also stand a good chance against any mob in the field. Of course, it does damage your successes in PvP as you will no longer have meditation or the defences from TKA x4xx.
