I could have sworn that +mods on clothing and skill/armor tapes were capped at +25. Then, any food or special statuses (think Squad Leader) could add on top of this. I think the reasoning is that +25 is a good all the time amount, and food and special stats are not permanent...so they can go over.

So the uber +18 mask scent jawa beer that was described, combined with +25 from clothes and exploration 4 would be...

You might want to get some low end light additives as well. +50s should be fairly cheap and you might be able to trade beer for them.

+25 is the max from SEAs and BE clothing. +25 from food is stacked on top of that, I was asking if anyone knew if the +10 for 5 min mask scent stims that drop from NPCs now stack on top of food or with food; that is, if you use +18 beer and a +10 stim, do you get +28 or are you capped at +25?
and dont forget +5 from FS too, I'm grinding up towards that right now heh, I'll be the least smelly player on the server

so jekk...if you're also master ranger and both the stims and beer stack and you have mask scent clothing and the fs bonus, what's the MS rating you have then? And will the Mutant Rancor ever break your mask scent then? O.o
And on a (slightly) more serious note, anyone know if mask scent caps at +125 similar to defenses?

it better not! i'll be pissed if my +5 FS mask bonus doesnt stack with my MS and +25 suit
but i doubt it, since most MS with +25 clothes report a bonus with using Beer
and lets see...100 for MS (ranger gets no mask bonus) plus 25 clothes plus 5 fs plus 10 stim plus 18 beer? 158 looks like

wow never realized that Ranger gets no MS bonus. Does the Camo or anything else really help at all?
not saying that +158 isn't good...i'd love to have that sort of MS stat, but i sure wouldn't be opposed to more =D

You see the increased effect when you use the stim, if you look at your MS stat.

AFAIK you can't use both at the same time and from what I've heard from rangers, camo isn't that great.

If you happen to be on Gorath, give me a free crate of Jawa beer at +18 and a waypoint to your vendor, you can be assured that your vendor's waypoint will go into my datapad, even if I have to delete Zell's Armor Emporium to fit it there.
If I am sampling level 50 or above, I routinely use jawa beer, BE-enhanced clothing for mask scent, and the new mask scent injections.
Mutant rancors still frequently break my scent in spite of all of that. Better Jawa beer would certainly cause me to sit up and take notice.
I currently get my Jawa beer for free from our guild chef, but I'd gladly pay for the chance to hold my mask better.
I don't know the going price on my server. I never see it for sale.

I believe that the stim enhancement is counted separately from the rest so it's: innate ability+clothes+food+stim= MS score.
I'ven't done any exclusive research on this seeing as I'm kinda low on the stims, but I plan to. And I do note a difference between using the stim and not using it.
