That's one of the nice things about the latest version of this tool. If you think the output is too high then go to the Edit menu, select Options and change the numbers it uses to calculate the final price. There are rates per point of HAM for each type (health, action or mind) with breakpoints for pricing (make it more expensive or cheaper for higher HAM), rates and breakpoints for attack speed, damage and to-hit, rates for resists per point with breakpoints, and rates for specials, armor and even a "cool factor" to stick in there.
If you don't like how it prices then mix your own. A very nice little thing I think.

I use my own formula that I came up with, and I seem to have very low prices compared to others...but I always felt 5k for a pet less than level 10 was too much (after all, they are sorta useless the more powerful the player gets...and vehicles are much faster).
Either way, for those who haven't checked, you can go under options and change the formula for how much something costs to your liking. Therefore if you feel the program charges too much for HAM, you can change it.

Yes the only thing I didn't like about the program is the way it handled armor in my equation it multiplys by the health again(though by a smaller number)if there is armor.

1K per challenge level is WAY to low for a pet price in opinion having sold pets as a CH that was ok but I put LOTS more work into making a Bio Engineered pet. If you think that's all your time and effort are worth that's your call I guess.

Armor in it is a set figure, not a multiplier.

I decided CL wasn't a good thing to base a pet priceon, as under the new system it has very little bearing on the actual "worth" of a pet except for the CH breakpoints (dual/trio).
