Oh please, there is nothing to suggest that this is true. They may remove them from our line, they may fix them but not retroactively, they may *never* fix them. We simply have no idea what they are going to do.

Im a BE/CH with Taming 3. I cannot tame Blurrg. I have 2 friends that are Master Creature Handlers. I have them try to tame a blurrg after evey patch. Still no go. It's really starting to piss me off.

Fairly certain any pet that doesn't have a wild tamable counterpart isn't tamable as a BE creature. Maybe I'm wrong and the lists don't quite match, but that has been my idea of it for a while. Every one that doesn't spawn babies seems to be "bugged".

I am a master BE and master CH and I know for a fact that Blurrgs CANNOT be tamed. They are just 1 of many pets that BE make that cannot be tamed. Oh, and do not count on the devs fixing the cloning line of bio-engineering any time soon. I bet those fixes wont happen til the new year.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bio-Engineering is still THE most broken profession. Yes, that's right. Even with the first fixes for bio-engineering half of skills produce products that are worse then what can be found in the wild. For the record, DE is not as broke as BE (stuff works it is just that a lot doesn't make sense).

Has anyone else noticed blurrgs acting strangely?

I was out on endor looking for blurrgs, I found one but it attacked and I ran away, it then got in a fight with a borgle life sapper, so I tapped the lair and hope the new spawn wouldnt join the fight, by the time it spawned the fight was over so I went to start sampling, but the blurrg that had been fighting ran over to the new blurrg, looked at it, shouted and then attacked it.
So I helped the new one win the fight then I sampled him to death, hit the lair for more spawns and sampled the new one to death, then when I got back to the lair another had spawned and it attacked me - but blurrgs arent aggressive.

Diseased blurgs are (iirc). Are you sure it wasn't one of these, or some other aggressive type? I've not been on Endor for a while, so I'm a bit lacking when it comes to the blurg family

Last time I checked, we can get aggroed by any creature we sample, aggressive or not.

Oh... /shrug

The only time I have been aggroed by a creature if I haven't been sampling it and it is not aggressive is if I had been fighting it earlier. I will certainly attack me if it is bleeding, but I have noticed that I am sometimes attacked even if I did not make it bleed.

If you didn't attack it before... you got me. Maybe it didn't like the perfume you were wearing who knows?

I would guess that from further away, an aggro blurrg (diseased) aggroed on you and the closer one (non-aggro) noticed and joined in. The diseased ones have an area attack which commonly affect each other, making them attack one another. Rancors and Voritor do that too.

krayts do the same...

Also you said u tapped the lair....they can aggro if you tap the lair. I was trying to sample a humbaba just for exp earlier and i couldnt get one out of the lair w/o it aggroing me as soon as it appeared (even though i stopped attacking the lair b4 it popped out)
