Grats, I made master a few days ago as well, had about 20% spawn rate since publish 6, so it was painful.

SWG is a lot like the Nicotrol System.

With each patch, you're that much closer to quitting.

Congratulations Kellis! I don't care what anyone says, I think MBH rocks - and it is the hardest profession to master. We're not just another combat profession, we're a special breed of professional killers

Never been into PvP, but I've found that that just about any tough solo PvE mission is easy as MBH when I started using this tactic: maskscent (unless your hunting NPCs), kneel, hit your target witha few specials ending with torso and bleeding, peace, back up until the lair is at the edge of your radar (at 128 res) and wait for your target to bleed. It will then run right up too you, with about half its life remaining and dropping fast from the dots (mine are usually, stunned, dizzy, blind, burning, and bleeding), leaving all its buddies behind. You can easily finish it off with the LLC (I also remove my armor during the first part to avoid high ham from the specials and put it on while I'm waiting for that first bleed). This has worked great on squill, fambaas, rancors, dark troopers, force users, you name it. You just keep picking them off one at a time. And you don't even need a second combat profession or buffing, just some decent weapons and composite.

Note: It's worth the camp and the trouble to put your speeder away at each lair - sometimes when that first bleed pisses them off, they go after another target instead of you (like your speeder).

Professional killers? Ya you are right, we do get killed by professionals quite often don't we?

Novice Bounty Hunter 1/4/4/4 (working on Investigation II ... why? Why am I working on it? I know I won't get any stronger! GRRRRRR... oh wait, it's true, I already proved my point that TKM is too freaking powerful with my TKM+Master Doctor on Ahazi ... I got bored winning all the time, so I'm back to my weak'lil Bounty Hunter to get the Master BH Badge... I still dunno why I bother with him though, maybe I'm just bored)

Why would a bounty hunter duel a TKM? Like I said, BH is not just another combat class. If your only into PvP, be a TKM! The whole point of being a bounty hunter is the fact that you can do missions that no other profession has access to. Yes, investigation! I found them quite fun; I got a big kick out of tracking some dangerous fugitive and gunning him down in the street. If you don't enjoy investigation missions, why be a bounty hunter??

There's also the added bonus of being able to hunt player jedi, hopefully once release 7 comes out.

And you do get stronger by mastering BH because of the specials. So to all you BHs that are constantlyflaming your own chosen profession, I say:

"This isn't the profession you're looking for. Move along, move along"

So after about a month of working on Armorsmith (took my time, not a hard grinding type), and two daysof gathering apprentice points, I've finally done the calculations and I spent over 2 million in resources, though I still have some left for the fun stuff now. (came out to about3.1 million due to buying crafting station, factory, harvesters, and so on)

Anyways, For everyone who thinks this profession is gonna make them a ton of money, they might wanna think about how much they are going to spend to get to master, lol...

As I never sold any armor while working up the trees, I'm not sure when I'll make it back, but its been fun.

As a note: I started experimenting with the composite gloves, and threw 3 sets on the bazaar, which sold in about 30 minutes, so looking good so far. Now time to actually make some factory runs and get my shop rolling. Wish me luck!

not planning on selling them at the bazaar, those we're pretty crappy ones that I was experimenting on just to get the layering right, so wasn't like they were worth much.

Have my own shop set up to sell the stuff I'm making now... This forum does help alot!

Finally made master the other night courtesy of the Geo Caves. Major thanks to Co-co. Anywho, gained 810k experience in about 3 hrs of playing and had a BLAST. Looted lots of sword cores and power cubes.

Swordsman was holo #1, which I had tried to master 5 monthes ago, but could never get into it ( or the whole holo-grinding craze ). Glad I took the time to master it this time, as it will be a profession I will stick with for a long time. Nothing better than being surrounded by 12 Crazed Geo's, spamming spinattack, and watching them drop like flies. No more holo grinding for me, I have a prof that is actually fun to play.
