Suck Whores Gayaxies?
How much longer, after your posts delve this low into the gutter, until you just say, 'enough', and let it go and move on? I've been back to the game for 3 weeks and have been posting on the boards regularly since. I've seen nothing but negative posts form you the whole time.
So I ask, how long do you, as a grown man, an adult, continue to playa video game you like to refer to as Suck Whores Gayaxies?
Do you have any self respect?

So, CHs are worthless in PvP now? I'm a MCH/almost-MBH - does this destroy my chances against Jedi because I basically only have one usable profession?

Um, say what??? I'm presently at work, and when I try to access swgcreatures it causes my browser to crash. Cansomeone give a quick run down on what the interview said?

I can think of one positive thing since the cu. It has nothing directly to do with CH though. Any combat profession would do. At lvl 54+ I can now walk around most of Naboo and the NPCs are all grey to me and won't attack.
No longer do I fear walking around tending my harvesters as the evil Mauler sect are all lvl 30 and below. In fact I can kill any one of them with impunity as the others won't even come to help.
Yes life is much better for a miner with at least part of or one combat profession. Mine is CH cause I like the pets. I became CH in the beginning to protect myself when tending my minning equipment and it still protects me even with all the other bugs.
Now hunting or PVP? Not a chance with Just CH.

The interveiw said that Pets really wernet intended for PvP which is only 5% of the population anyways.
They never said they are removing pets from PvP.

Taken from the fan fest notes:
"When will we be seeing pet specials and resists returned

Next publish
Can you give me any details about the upcoming ch publish
Am generalizing what he said
Pets are now balanced and the upcoming publish will make sure ch is not an overpowered but balanced profession. He viewed pvp as being a very small percentage quoting pvp as being 5% of the overall gamersand that CH really didwas not a pvp combat profession. Like TH said in thebeginning where developers were having trouble defining the role of CH in pvp giving us the Jack of All trades abilities which will be coming in the future ch publish, I still feel from this discussion that thereis still a lot of uncertainty as to what to do with our profession."
I think it is clear from the fan fest that the devs feel that CH is not a PVP profession and are not about to do anything to make it more viable in PVP since they say pets are currently balanced.
Finally made it to swgcreatures, and now I understand. I was under the impression there was an actual interview with a developer - didn't realize that what was being quoted were notes from FanFest. Milteckreports a "generalized"conversation with a csr from Lucas Arts. Presumably it was Miteck, anyway. The swgcreature article was a compilation of FanFest notes by different people, so it could have been someone else. You would think that a csr from Lucas Arts and the devs would be on the same page - that is not always the case.
I'll just say that despite what that csr said, my over all impression of everything that was said at FanFest, re: CH and combat, is that the devs do intend for CH to be involved in PvP. While they never specifically said that, certainly their intent is to make CH on a par with other combat professions. At no time, was anything said by the devs that could even have hinted at the idea that they don't intend for CH to be involved in PvP. Everything said certainly indicated that they want CH to be as viable a combat profession as any other. Though, I think it's fair to say that they are having difficulty fitting CH into the scheme of things.
So,it's a bit premature for people to start cancelling accounts or claiming that CH will never be involved in PvP. Who knows, it may be that CH will never be effectively integrated into PvP, but that's not a conclusion we can jump to because of someone's notes of a "generalized" report of an answer given by a csr.
