Are you trying to 'complete' the duty missions?
If so, the mission will go on and on, getting harder and harder. Just open up your datapad, click on the mission and select 'End Duty' when it starts to get really hard. You'll get a 'Mission Complete' message, and can then go and get another one.
Hope this helps.

Hang around the mission trainer. Wait for people to come and ask them if they want to go out and fly with you. As a privateer that is how i got help on one of my last missions.

Couple pieces of advice. take it or leave it, doesn't matter to me, but these are what worked for me.
1.Keep doing the duty missions even if you die. Why? you get more practice piloting a TIE fighter, you also will get better at flying simulators. Well, at least JTL. You will also keep getting loot and more xp, and more credits.
2. Keep only the best loot for the level you can use. Sell the rest to the chassie dealer.
3. Go buy a new TIE if you can't have shields. If you got the newer version, start replacing the parts you have for the better loot parts you got.
3.a. When switching parts. the first thing to do is remove your armor, you will put that back in last. The first thing you change out is your shields. I can never say enough about good shields, you will find you can take a heck of a beating and still go one killing with great shields. The higher the front/back hit rating the better. Change out your capacitor, reactor, and engine. Get more powere in the capacitor and reactor, the more the better. Engines, get the best YPR first, speed second. No good if you can fly fast but can't turn on a dime. Change out you weapon. You can live without a booster if you are running out of mass. Mass is abig issue with TIE's but till you start learning your play style, don't worry at level 1. Finally, put your armor back in. Start with the back armor first, cause that is where you more likely to get hit more often. Don't worry if you can't put the highest rated armor in. Its just a backup system to your shields. The better you get at flying in space, you will notice your shields will get hit less and less often.
4. When you get extra cash, go check out SW vendors. shop around, don't buy the first thing you see.Make sure you have room for any component that is better than what you got. Once again, mass will be your enemy and you will have to watch it. Also, you can find even better parts for a lot less credits. Ask others for good SW shops or SW's, it helps to know a good one cause they will give you the better parts for your money. Be constanlty upgrading. It really helps.
Don't worry about not completing missions and grouping at the first few tiers. They are easy, you just need some practise at flying. I sure did. Soon you will be a flying ace against the npc's and you will learn a lot more about what you ship can and can't do.

Learn to disable your target rather going for the kill. This is particularly true when you are up against multiple ships. The real secret at your level is disable your enemy then kill at your leasure.

That is one hell of a nice pet. Standard uber c10 pet is around 10/5/3k with 50-60% kin and 40-50% blast...
This pet significantly beats that, probably, by nerfing the blast resists.
I would like to know how that pet was made, and how many generations were involved in its creation...

This is just some good dna on a second gen pet. Nothing really special. They're not hard to make. In fact I think it's only a two planet combine. Voritor dasher, bol, and MH with something else in the first slot on the first gen.
OMG!! I just read the prices for these things! They are selling for 1mil, with a buyout of a premium pearl or 30k resource reward. Absolutely insane. It's a second gen pet for crissakes. On the other hand, maybe I'll go ahead and make myself some money.

I thought about releasing the the recipe just to get the price for these things down to something less than insane. I really have mixed feelings about all this. On one hand it'd be really nice to walk away with a bunch of cred. On the other hand I don't want to rip people off like that. Knowing how I've handled mixed feelings in the past I'll probably hash it out in my head till they've come way down in price and it doesn't matter anymore.

I think its silly to take advantage of people like that, shows which BE do the profession for fun and which ones do it just to exploit other people

Well the thing is, I have noticed a large surge of new Bio-Engineers and also a large surge in the number of these 'exploits' appearing. Although this could be in ratio, I can't help but suspect that a lot of people are jumping on the bandwagon and hoping to use BE as a 'get rich quick' scheme. The link between the two is as clear as mud and I pray that these new BEs are taking up the profession to aid the dwindling Creature Handlers out there and not their back pockets.
