Highest seems to be around 14k at the very extreme end. I personally think you'd have a hard time pushing it that high but hitting around 13.5k is fairly easy so I'd say the last 5000 points could be squeezed in with some luck. Also the fact it's CL23 and 50% armor is meaningless. The end result is that CL70 critters are powerful being of their all around protection, massive HAM and damage. I've personally made something which was CL65 and was 50% kinetic and 60% energy but it was naturally lower thant he full 70 because I needed to use more dna that was under CL60.

On the whole though that fambaa would probably clobber the choku simply because it has KD and strong disease. In the end if someone asks for CL70 clones then they can't complain when the results turn out less fantastic than something of a lower CL because you only have less than half a dozen sources to get the dna from to pull it off.

The funny thing about the Gurreck is, during experimentation, I had 2 points left, and hemmed and hawed about whether to use it. After about a minute I wussed out. Good thing

Yes, there are a lot of things you can do with them to change up stats. I have made light armor, 60% kinetic, but you either lose HAM or create even more vulnerabilities. I like that mix of 97% resists, that knocks out some significant PvP weapons. I would like to get acid into it, but that would involve lowering too many other stats. I have another recipe that puts in good stun resists, but leaves electricity vulnerable, and doesn't get to that HAM.

I've yet to meet a CH who wants ranged attacks on his creatures. So I leave them off the big guys. I put them on some smaller creatures, but they just raise the level significantly without giving much anyone wants. Lots of people like Dizzy attacks. I have a recipe that consistently give level 55'ish things with dizzy and knockdown, which seem tosell well.

I can't compete with the bugged creatures, I'm not even going to try. I'm betting they will re-evaluate their database of BE creatures, and then those <23 light armor things go away.

An oddity is in the second gurreck, the stunning attack from the mind slot went into special 1. I have no idea how to control this event, I've tried using higher quality than what is in the aggression slot, but it has not helped. Anyone know how to control the special 1 coming from mind or aggression?

Sorry that the enthusiasm for your new kits didn't carry through, Zaack, this is an embittered bunch, lol.

I made a fair gurreck, cl34 ar1, 10400 HAM 30% kinetic, 49% blast, 17% heat, 46% cold, 49% elec, 55% acid, 46% stun, energy vuln, 300-310 damage, ranged, dizzy and strong poison.

I believe mostly TMB dna with a couple others thrown in.

Just wanna echo what Mattakar said - seems that cat fits exactly what you want and is a nice beastie to have to complement your own skills. Been playing around trying to make a similar one but with KD as special 1 for myself.

Happy hunting to you and your new pet

What's the use of a creature that dizzies, but is vulnerable to energy? The only reason to dizzy is to keep npcs down and most of them start off using an energy attack. Furthermore the dizzy was a ranged attack meaning that it'll draw agro from its target (who will be using an energy attack most likely) and get killed.

Just doesn't make much sense to me.

I'm not sure which creature you are talking about being vulnto energy. The ones I made had 58% energy resist, 2% less than max.

Yeah, acid and blast resists would be nicer than cold, but very hard to fit into a creature that high. Electricty, energy and heat are all very useful though, especially at the 3% penetration level (my flamethrower did what?!)

Tal-N, I can't read the CL's, you know what a young Mallok plainswalker's level is ( Dathomir)? They have good resists. Also, I don't know how much higher the health can go, I think we are capped at 75% experimentation, which is usually 748 fortitude and near 770 hardiness. I've tried, but never got fortitude to 750 to see if we get medium.

For PvP, I'm not sure armor is of much use. Almost every weapon used in PVP is armor piercing 1, so I don't think it ever factors in. I think a true PVP pet should focus on high resists in all areas, and not worry so much about armor. But I don't pvp much, wookies dont last long.

I won't argue that it's not a nice pet, just that it's not a perfect pet (though as you point out Zak, it's perfect for you and thats all that counts, isn't it ).

I'm MCH and 2 boxes off MBE and I always try to get Ranged on my clones. I'd rather have the option there, than exclude myself from having it *shrug*. Horses for courses.

I also like making my pets as Kaadu, Spatt or Bol. They're still fast (not quite as fast as the cats, but with Ranged speed isn't such an issue) and you can ride them to missions. Make sure they have KD and those annoying running NPC's aren't quiteas annoying any more.(Note: SA's work fine through Ranged)

I managed to make a Gurrcat with 9500H - 7500A - 6200M 54 kinetic strong poison and intimidate lvl 10. Just gotta keep sampling. I couldnt figure how to make it with light armor without adding 5 levels.

Very Nice Gurreck! I for one would love to own that pet on my ch's server (Kettemoor) , heck I'd even like one for my Smuggler (Ahazia ) for when he takes CH profession back. Nice job, whomever did that.

Btw, if any BE's on Kettemoor could make one (reasonalby priced as I am not rich by any means) then I would gladly buy that I just love Gurrecks, Spiders and Mereks. Only have 1 rancor and not very fond of him at all.

Well i just a quick update... I dropped CH for the needs of PVP. But while i had the gurreck, once it was full grown, it would dizzy all the time and quick.I would see"Dizzy attack" popping up all the time and often would take a matter of seconds before the dizzy kicks in. I've a ranged knockdown and multiple position change moves. Let me tell you it was funny to see all these kungas fall down and trying to get back. Now i have a ranged dizzy myself , but no more kitties

Thanks again Mattakar, everyone was "WOAH" looking at him just knowing the CL (70 = magic number hehe)

My previous gurreck, was almost as good and CL50 with 12k ham and 610-620 damage, but it was a pre-patch BE. You can't compare the new levels with the old levels.
