Heh, I've pretty much come to the conclusion that "hot fix" and "created an additional problem" go hand-in-hand in this game.

Here are some more facts:


- The dependabilty stat on DNA now works liek other stats in that it goes down when you re-sample isntead of going up over 1000 like it used to. To get CL down on a 2nd gen clone you have ot boost psychology to get the dependabilty back up. Higher depoendability equals lower CL


- The calculation for fortitude when sampling has changed. Now fortitude goes down signifigantly more when sampling a creature then it used to. This makes it kuch harder to make lower level clones with armor. I don't knwo the fiull impact of this yet but when mixing buill rancor and proling gurrek DNA I was unabel to make a cloen with armor. Spending all my exp point on physique only got me to 460 fortitude and the last exp point didn't budge the fortitude a bit. They may have put in a new check to cap fortitude if all the DNA samples used did not have light armo on them but thatsjust a theory so far. I will investigate more today

Well the bug which caused the uber-low pets has been fixed, i tested it with the merek deaths head and it came out as CL41 as expected more or less so that means effectiveness resists are more or less working as intended. Now we'll have to see if generationalized clones are working as before or not.

Also, courage is not going to 0 anymore when you re-sample. I guessed beforehand that the courage numbers were being transferred over to dependability by mistake. They seem to have fixed that.


Don't know why people keep saying higher dependability equals lower CL. I have not seen this, nor have I seen anyone present data that shows this. Whoever is convinced that this is true, please post your tests.

for whoever said that tehy cannot get any kinetic resistance on a pet under lvl 10..well I am working on CH and had my BE friend make a bunch of gnorts for me to tame, one out of the batch of 50 is lvl 7 1.2K HAM and 20% kinetic resistance.

Do you have tests that showthat Damage doesn't affect CL that you can post? You say it "has been shown."


Talthazar is right, I think. People keep posting only a few of the stats on their invalid pets. What we need is a thread where people will post all the stats of their invalid pets so we can try to figure this out. So far, I don't see anything close to a pattern, but I don't have any invalid pets of my own to look at.I wish the devs would hurry up and put CL on the templates so we can see directly how experimentation affects CL.
