It's a bug, I had that happen to both of my factories. To resolve the problem I destroy/reclaim the deed and set it back down again. Never had another problem after that. Yes I lost a bunch of power, but power is cheap.

On another note. When I create a weapon schematic and use pistol barrel from a crate, I would just load that crate and it would be the ingredient for the pistol then?

Is there any Factory Bio-Engineers can use? Today an Architech told me if I make an item with the Food and Chemical Crafting Tool/Station, that the Food and Chemical Factory would also make it.

All I can say is that he is dead wrong. I wasted 45k credits and the Factory does not accept any on the Bio_Engineer Schematics.

I guess I have done something wrong? I assume if we have the option to make the Schematic, that there MUST be a Factory to use them in? Did I just buy the wrong Factory?

I really hate buying things without knowing if they will work or not. I have purchased 100 hats alone for my Tw'Lek and can't wear them!

Currently, we cannot use any factory to craft our goods. Just another in the long line of bugs. Unless they intended for us not to be able to craft in factories, but they have not stated so either way.

Just weird then that we can make Factory Schematics then I guess. I've reported more bugs in last 2 weeks, than I ever did in Beta.

I was told by someoen last night that since I got a factory and I am only master medic it would be best if I had a doctor make my schematics with the items I have. Said he would be able to make better ones than me. Is this true or should I even bother?

Master Doctors can get much better expiremental results. Here's what you do:
Gather up the resources to make a few BECs
Find a doctor who'll be willing to make you a schematic
Give those resources to the doctor (be sure to tell him what you want experimented, i.e. charges, effectivesness, etc)
He'll give you back the schematic somehow (I've heard you can email schematics, but generally you make a trade on the bazaar)
Now take the rest of your resources and the new schematic and load them into your factory.


It's amazing what those extra experimentation points can achieve.

I personally don't bother with the hassle because I don't know any Master Docs. I'd be using thier services if I did though.

Just qualified as a CM.

Having read thru the comments on factory running for supplies i think this is a good idea.

The CM is my main skill & apart from tips theres not much cash to be had so why not craft a bunch of products & flog em.

Like most of youI dont want to be running a factory but rather out there healing....so why not go into business with some one else.

Another reason for having a factory, I wanted to make a stim D......i needed a factory crafted bio effect controller....as I dont have a factory I couldn't craft it. Ended up paying 6k for 10.

I don't get xps anymore, but unless they've changed it you get 10% of the items xps. However, I think this is only while you're close to the factory during the run.
