Plus anyone who is really new to CAs (I was once) - you can just drag and drop them on an item of clothing with a free socket. 4 is the max number of sockets you can get in any garment so if you are buying clothes - look for ones with more sockets. Same goes for AA (armor attachments) of course but into armor. The number of sockets seems random so a tailor cannot choose how many sockets you get I guess you want to be prepared to pay a bit more for more sockets is all.

ie; to what he said Say you have a shirt that is 4 sockets you insert a CA that is +4 med exp +2 dizzy +5 Track Droid


that takes 3 slots so your left with 1 socket..Each + skill takes up one socket


Your find that uber +5 Med Exp ..Umm so +4 +5 Great +9 Exp So yah drag it into your shirt..Opps...Buzz Wrong yah just lost that tape...


you could add a Med Assy..but no more Med Exp in the shirt...


I know that is Old School to most of you ..just put in for the new players

It's a quest reward from jabba's theme park...does not use tissue's per say from the Tailor

does medical assembly cap at +25?


and also is there a point to getting to +25 medical experimentation? i only bothered getting to +20

I wasn't sure if Icthorian's could wear them so I logged ours in and tested. Yes they can with no problems. The apron takes the place of a jacket on all species.


Little CA's and AA's of +1 and +2 are very easily found in the borgle bat cave and torton cave on rori - you need to open the piles of 'loose debris' and the 'corpses'. There are about 6 in each cave with the 'best' ones being in the little side cave by the 'bridge' (go left - you will know what I mean when you are there) and also at the very bottom where the matriarch is. I think the creatures there are in the range of level 30 and they spawn quite quickly and in numbers so be prepared to be attacked by about 3-5 at once.


Also ... the caves are sometimes camped The CA and AA's respawn about once every 20 minutes so don't give up! It's quite fun to play the cave game. Expect it to take about a month or two to find enough medical experimentation tapes to make a suit tho.

I was thinking the same myself since each 10 points in experimentation tapes = 1pt of actual experimentation.

Not really...I belive the extra use to help with failures..but with that gone...Ummmm..belive they all cap at 25..but don't hold me to it

The extra experimentation give a very slight increase for getting an amazing.


My crafter has +25 exp/+25 assembly in tapes and FS crafting (experimentation & technique). I get a lot of amazings (maybe 25-50%), enough to be equivalent to around 1 extra exp pt.

Assembly is good, but experimentation is way better. And, for the record, you only need +20 exp points (from CA's/apron) to get to 12 point. You get 10 exp points for Master, and every 10 (from CA's) after that gets you one more exp point up to a max of 12. Thus, you only need +20 exp in CA's to get to 12 exp points total in crafting.


Did that make sense...?

well you only actually need 0004 BE to get 10 pts. Im considering dropping to 0404 BE, as all i do is make stims and tissues. And just buy the heavy nutrients i need, cause i dont use many.
