Just to clarify there are two different kinds of 'exploit'
Something the devs have labelled an 'exploit' and take action against those using it, eg credit dupesand those that are exploits just because its what the word means, which in gaming context is to take advantage of a bug eg. uberpets (though this is a grey area since its only really an exploit if the person doing it knows about it, technically you're just throwing 5 samples together in the normal way and oops you've got an uberpet), powerup slicing, reverse armour hole.
You're not going to get banned for taking advantage of the fact that you only need to wear certain pieces of armour to be fully protected, buts its still and 'exploit' none the less.
Credit/item dupes are cracked down on so swiftly because they can have a very damaging effect in a very small amount of time allowing a few dishonest individuals to drastically affect the games economy.

Exactly, its not a *major* exploit. It doesnt harm the game significantly. And with upcoming changes to the game it would be a waste of development resources to fix it now.

whoa, lol... didnt mean to start a ruckas
sorry for causing trouble... *goes to the corner*
I've been friends with many of the major pvp'rs on my server for a long time and I never knew this was an 'exploit'. Even if it didnt work this way I would still imagin this to be the best suit for pvp because it saves the wearera huge amountof encumbrance.

The reverse armour hole thing is a bug caused by the fixes to the armour hole situation, taking advantage of a bug is an exploit, not all exploits are BAD in a bannable kind of way and in this case it would be very difficult to prove that someone was only wearing specific armour pieces because they knew about the bug and were intentionally try to exploit it, I have characters on TC with only those armour pieces because they cant afford a full set yet
