Get yourself a good crafting Macro

* runs and hides *

Seriously though, Macro facilities are provided in game so you might as well make use of them. Several good ones have been posted. Reduce those 5000 clicks to 1000

Try making your goods, then selling them. Forget about getting somewhere in light speed. Games of this nature aren't meant to be rushed through... take your time and enjoy it. It's like a road trip bro, getting to the end destination is a heck of a lot of fun.

Or grind your way to Master, completely burn out, and never be heard from again... .

First get a good macro. I don't recommend grinding all the way through BE but some grinding is probably a good thing. You'll probably do a lot of travelling as a BE and while your waiting for your shuttle/ship you may as well be grinding. In a 5 minute for a shuttle your should be able to get upwards of 3 or 4 K of BE XP. I find it useful to wonder of to the side while I wait to avoid the crafting bots the doctors tend to pull out at these same pit stops. I also recommend making things for sale at regular intervals. Hit a new city make a few of each item you have have resources for (With your bot out for experimentation) and try selling them through the bazaar. Make sure to do a search for whats currently available to get an idea of how much to sell them for. Vitality packs and pet stims tend to sell very well on the advanced planets. It may not be as fast as the straight grind but you won't burn out as fast and your more likely to enjoy the game. Also spend time setting up contacts. We are more dependent upon the other classes than any other class. You need to set up good contacts among doctors (get good subs), rangers/scouts (get fauna resources), artisans (get flora resources), architects (harvestors), smuggler (muon gold for those willing to use it, I don't for RP reasons), creature-handlers (principle client andpet trainer), tailors (next biggest client - scent neutralize cloth helps us as well), chefs (tertiary client and provider of k-18, spiced tea, etc for those like me who don't use muon gold).

I am currently 4,2,4,1 and have ground the whole way. I make mostly pet stems and vit packs but some pets too it takes awhile but it is more rewarding this way in the long run. I always keep the bazzar full between two cities and usally sell out daily. I have an droid with an crafting station in it, this i have out when running to check my harvestors, or waiting for the shuttle.

LOL, all over the place. Every artisan board has a few threads devoted to macro's. Tips 'n Trick on http://geocities.com/terihlon/has several different macros that should help you out. The site also has a lot of other useful data on resources needed and creaures we can make.

Why would you want to be a crafting profession, if you don't like crafting?

Honestly, who likes crafting. I seriously doubt that anyone wants to just sit there and craft all day. Personally I like to sit in the cantina and stare at the scenery. Whats sad is the fact that half the "hot, chick dancers" are really perverted guys watchin themselves. Well I chose the BE profession because I want to create my own monsters and run around with them, if I do that though I lose my fighting skills Arghhhh....
